I asked Max to call the doctor at my home. I went towards my car and then made Sana lay in the backseat and took her hand in my lap. she was injured so badly, blood was oozing out of her intimate part, Somewhere there were blue marks, because of the bastard's thrashing... There was a bite mark which was blue and black all over her neck and chest. He scratched her body like some hungry animal. even if they are not merciless like him. A tear rolled down my eyes. My wolf was also growling in pain seeing his mate lying in such a condition.

"I never thought that I would meet you again in such a condition" I muttered and removed her hair from her face.

"We will not leave that bastard. He will cry the tears of blood," my wolf said in my mind. I nod agreeing with him. That asshole Andrew will suffer hell while living. I wiped my tears and kissed her forehead.

"It's all my fault, I shouldn't have left you alone, Sana"

"I told you but you didn't listen to me and went to war. She needed you and what you did was leave her with that fellow doctor" Dominic scoffed.

"I'm sorry... I couldn't leave my men alone like that and I had to kill that Richard with my own hands but I never thought that the result of leaving Sana alone would be this"

"Now there is no use to think about all these. Just pray to the moon goddess that she gets better soon because I can't see her like this, '' Dominic replied.

"Nor I"

I pulled Sana close to my chest, near my heart.

"Now no matter what happens, I will not leave you alone... Even if you want, I am not going to get away from you and when I know that you're my mate there is no chance we will leave you. the thing that you were Richard's wife does not matter to me.. now you're mine.. only mine" I thought and rolled my hand in her hair. Soon we reached home. I picked her up and took her to my room. Everyone was looking at me shockingly well. Why would they not? After all, I never bring any girl to my home and here I'm carrying a girl in my arms and taking her to my room. The Lady doctor was already present there. I lay down Sana on the bed and looked toward the doctor.

"Its condition is not so good. I wonder if she is even able to survive or not"

"Doctor," I roared. She shivered in fear and took her steps back.

"Nothing should happen to my Sana. If something happens to her, then after this you will not be able to treat anyone." She looked at me with her fearful eyes. I know I shouldn't talk to any lady like this but how dare she say something like this about her.

"make sure she gets well.. understand?"

"yes.. yes" she fumbled and went near Sana. she turned her face towards me

"Can you please go---go out?" she asked hesitantly. I didn't reply and went outside and closed the door behind but I stood outside the room and started waiting for the doctor to come out and say she was absolutely fine but somewhere I knew that she was not okay

After an hour, the doctor came outside. She looks at me and by noticing her expression I know she's afraid to tell me the truth. I went inside to look at my Sano. She's lying on the bed unconscious. There was a bandage all over her body and cream was applied on his face and there were stitches on her forehead. a lady doctor came to me.

"she's out of danger" she muttered. I took a breath which I don't know since when I'm holding it.

"She's out of danger but she's not okay," she said.

"ya I knew but all her injuries will heal soon as soon as the effect of wolfsbane on her ends.. her wolf will heal her"

"Actually sir" I look towards the doctor. She hesitates a bit to speak further but then I indicate to her to continue.

"The one who kidn*pped her was continuously injecting wolfsbane into her veins for 1 month."

"What? 1 month?" I was appalled.

"yes and because of that, her wolf went into a deep slumber. I don't know when she will show her presence." She mumbled

"Wolfsbane has been giving to her for 1 month? Due to wolfsbane, a wolf goes into a deep sleep and not only this, wolfbane is like a poison which is slowly killing the wolf. It's so painful for a wolf and it's given to her continuously for 1 month… it must be so painful for her" I felt an arch in my heart.

"Not only this Alpha but she was beaten brutally and r***d more than 50 times" A tear rolled down from her eyes, seeing Sano's horrifying condition. "she had a serious injury on her feet and also she had internal injuries because of which she couldn't walk for some days. She has many bruises on her body. and you can see her face is also not in a good condition." she completed. I look at Sano.

"When will she get better?" I asked.

"I don't know when her wolf will show her presence but as now she is only a normal human so it will take time for her to recover physically, at least 1 month and about her mental condition I don't know. She must be in great trauma. make sure she takes proper rest" I nod.

"Sir please don't leave him. He is a beast. He tortured her so badly. My soul trembled after seeing her, I don't know how she has endured all this till now. don't leave her alone because I'm sure she must have also suffered from depression or might also have faced panic attacks like usually, people do in such a condition" the lady doctor mumbled and wiped her tears. I didn't say anything, she left from there.

I sit beside Sana and lock strands of hair behind her ear. Her face became pale and there was a cut on her right cheeks and scratches on her left cheek, cuts on her lips and her forehead there was a minor injury. and a tear rolled down my eyes looking at the miserable condition.

I'm used to hanging out with many girls but just to fulfil my needs. I never felt anything for any of them. They were all just for a one-night stand but when I saw this girl for the first time, I fell for her. I still remember that day when I attacked her pack. I was about to kill someone. That's when she accidentally came between me and my enemy. Her beautiful eyes with fear met mine. She was looking at me, widening her eyes and soon she closed them because of fear. seeing her beautiful lips shivering to urge me to kiss her deep and passionately, her fluffy cheeks I wish to chew them. She's looking heartbreaking with light makeup. Her mesmerising beauty made me so lost in her that I even forgot that I was in a battle and that's when my enemy attacked my shoulder.

"Aah'' I hissed in pain and she opened her eyes but before she could say or react something somebody held her hand and dragged her somewhere and I came to my senses. There was a lot of difference in her from that day and today. her whole face became pale, there was a cut on her beautiful pink lips, and her eyes were swollen. I will not leave that Adrian. Dominic also whimpered looking at her condition.

"Maya," he whispered in my mind.

"Maya?" I asked.

"Her wolf name is Maya. when I first saw her that's when I felt our mate bond but she was pregnant with Richard that's why I didn't tell you. I wanted to confirm that if we were mates then how did she end up marrying Richard or we are her second chance mate but before I could confirm she went away from there and then we saw her in labour pain and after that everything had messed up. we were busy in the war and when we went back to the doctor she said Sana ran away from there and now when we are meeting her, her wolf is not with her '' he muttered. I nodded and brought the stool and sat beside her bed, waiting for her to gain consciousness.
