Georgie I sat on the bench by the back door for the majority of the BBQ. I felt the glares from my Mum and Dad every few minutes telling me they weren’t happy with the effort I was putting in, but I couldn’t care less. Every time I got up, Derek was there. Waiting. I’m sure he isn’t a bad guy, but he is just too keen. Too forward. Too assuming. But I guess that is partly because he already has approval from the entirety of my family.
