Georgie I stayed in the same position, sitting on the edge of my bed lost in thought and curiosity for at least half an hour. I could hear the music turned off in the backyard, so I knew that they were beginning to tidy up. I couldn’t help the feeling of relief flooding over me at the thought that Derek would have left for now. I didn’t want to go to dinner with him tomorrow night but if I was able to keep my Mum and Dad off of my back for a while by going, I would. I needed to buy myself some time to figure out what was going on with Theo and why my family was so against the mate bond between us.
