Georgie I curled up on the couch with the television on in the background. I couldn’t even tell what the show was, I was just staring out the window. “Do you want something to eat?” Mum asked as she sat beside me, pulling my blankets to cover her knees as well. “I’m fine thank you.” I mumbled, gazing at the tree through the window and the way that it bent and swayed in the wind. Honestly, it was perfect weather to mope and sulk at home. Cold, windy and raining on and off all day. “Georgie, you will be OK. I know you’re feeling like a shell of a person but it will all come right back as soon as you are together again.” Mum assured me. “I know. It is just hard to get myself out of this low, flat feeling.” I replied honestly. “Understandable. Want company while you feel lousy?” Mum
