We were standing beside the car, trying to say goodbye but both failing miserably.
Tom was sitting in the passenger side of the car, flicking through the radio channels. It is his long-standing belief that whoever is a passenger gets to make the music selections. I just hope it isn’t something too drastic. Last time we took a drive together, he selected scream music that made my head pound.
“I’ll call you as soon as I arrive.” I promised, pulling her closer to me by her waist.
“I’ll be waiting.” Georgie smiled, reaching up to kiss my lips lightly.
“I’m finding it really hard to get into the car at the moment.” I said honestly, shaking my head with a chuckle.
“I am finding it really hard to let you get into that car at the moment.” Georgie giggled, squeezing me tighter.
