I stood facing the trees and bushes, waiting for Georgie to get changed and phase into her wolf. Axel was practically bouncing with excitement. He could hear her moving around but I knew she wasn’t in wolf form yet. A wolf's scent is similar to the humans scent, only a bit more woody. Georgie’s was still strong and not woody at all.
Finally, I felt fur rub up against Axel’s. Axel turned his head and saw the most beautiful blue wolf beside him. Her eyes were even brighter, if that was possible. Axel and I were both mesmerised. She gently nudged him with her nose before they started bouncing around each other excitedly. It was like watching two puppies play together. Axel was howling and whining with happiness. Both wolves were relishing in each others company.
