Animal attack !!!

Did someone said animal attack. Emily couldn't believe, what she just heard. What an animal doing here in this crowd. Aren't they prefer to stay in the forest, far from the human. Emily panicked, and froze on her place.

"get inside" Gina shout on her. They both got inside the shop, along with the owner lady. She was in her sixties and shivering dangerously in fear. They tried to hide themselves in there. Crowd was agitating crazily and volunteers try to control them.

A Sudden thought of Jackson made Emily even more scared. Where would they. She was thinking about her family, while holding hand of Gina, and then they heard a growl. A loud one. They looked towards each other with fear in their eyes.

"It's a wolf" Gina said, while staring at no where. It seems that she was thinking something deeply. Her grip on Emily's hands loosen. And she started looking different suddenly.

Emily stared at Gina's sudden change of reaction. When Gina was busy in her thoughts and Emily in examine her. Someone in the moving crowd, accidentally touch the flambeau to the tent, which they were using to scare the animal away. It took no time to catch the fire by the woolen cloths. In a few minutes the whole tent was on fire.

All the three female try to get out of the tent, but fire was everywhere. The lady was coughing badly by the smoke, she fell on her knees, as she was tired now. Emily was not in a good state too. She was also coughing, when Gina said, "That's enough" her voice was strong and eyes were determined.

"what " Emily said, and fell on her knees too. It was suffocating here. Smoke was everywhere and she can barely see anything. She was struggling to breath, when she heard a voice. A chanting. Someone was chanting in some other language. Emily was confused that, she was barely breathing and someone is speaking thoroughly with a strong voice full of energy in it. She didn't understand a single word, but chanting was fast and clear to hear.

It was feeling that, she was just going to pass out, when she saw smoke was reducing. And the temperature also decreased

"what is happening" she mutter.

And then she saw her, emerging out of the smoke.

Gina.

She was standing tall, with both her hands extending on her sides and eyes closed. She was chanting something. And the energy, she was creating is too strong to feel. The place was still full of smoke but, less than before. The lady passed out in the corner. And shop was still on fire.

Suddenly Gina opened her eyes

"Get out" she said to Emily, who was on her knees, still shocked by the view in front of her.

"Get out, I said" she shout again in strong voice, with flames in her eyes. Emily couldn't refuse the order and almost crawl out of the shop. Gina again close her eyes and start chanting.

Emily was in the shock. Her mind was not in state to think something. She was a part of crazily moving crowd now and don't know where to go. She stand in a corner to avoid being crushed by the crowd. She was scared and tired. she can't take one more step, as the smoke earlier weaken her lungs. She sat on the floor and try hard to breath as much oxygen as she can.

And then she heard a growl behind her, which made her shiver in fear. She didn't dare to turn back, but the wolf did that favor to her. He walked to her front and look at her, with those eyes filled with hunger. Emily was hell scared, as she was frozen on her place. She never seen a wolf before, but she was sure that, this one is bigger than an average wolf.

The wolf was staring in Emily's eyes. It felt like he was enjoying the fear in her eyes and she was giving her full satisfaction. She started feeling cold and all the blood in her body dry away. She close her eyes and accept the fate in front of her.

But suddenly she felt a vibration on the floor, like someone jumped on it and then she heard the loudest growl in the world. Which vibrate every bone in her body. She opened her eyes and saw a figure in front of her instead of the wolf. It's a man, standing tall between her and the wolf. He was facing the wolf.

She was exhausted now and barely keep open her eyes. But she saw a glimpse of the man before passing out. It was the Prince.

The royal palace

A day before the fair

Charles was standing in front of the large glass window of the Palace. Looking towards the village of the other side. It's something bothering him. Something different. He can sense it, but can't say exactly. Being a hybrid, it heightens his senses. He can see, run, sense and smell better than an everage werewolf, but he couldn't catch a smell right now. Then what is it, which make him uneasy. He wanted to run there and check by himself, but being the first prince, he can't act like this. Only thing he can do, is wait for the fair. So that, they can visit the village, as the Royal representative and he will find out what is strange there.

Finally the time come and Charles was ready to go to the fair, with his younger brother, Adam.

They both went to the village. More they come closer to the village, the discomfort of charles increases.

"All ok brother" Adam asked finally by noticing his uneasiness.

Charles nodded. But he can strongly feel something strange.

When they arrive their destination, and headed towards the stage, Charles see her in the crowd.

She was standing there, As nervous as him. And she was looking breathtaking. the movement charles see her, he know that she is the sole reason of the strange feelings in his heart. He wasn't able to move his eyes from her. He went to the stage, but didn't stop staring at her. She also noticed his stares, which made her uncomfortable but he doesn't care.

He want to find out, what is different in this girl, which hypnotized him. He orders one of his guards, to get the information about her and guard did his job so soon. When Charles find out that, she is the family of one of the volunteers. He got the excuse and call the volunteer named Jackson, with his family to praise his efforts and hard work for the event.

And it worked she came to the stage with the others. She was a tall girl with attractive features. She was looking nervous and never raise her head. When she came towards Charles he immediately feel that something is different about her. Some kind of pull was working on him and he want to go to her, talk to her. Charles tried to take her scent, but that's odd. The smell he feel was not her natural scent. It's a mask. Any normal warewolf didn't get it. But Charles was sure that it's not her original scent. His beast was pissed now. From the moment he saw her, he was so eager to smell her, but that mask is hindering him. The beast was peaking out from the eyes of Charles and it make his eyes color change a little bit. she was so uncomfortable around him.

After the introduction, when they all were heading back, Charles felt a bit uneasy. His beast is not agree to let her go so soon. During all of these years of immortality, it never behave like that before. Charles tried to convince him, that she is suspicious. She has masked her scent and also can feel his aura, which is not normal for a human being. So we have to be aware of her. But no matter how much he try, his beast was not ready to listen to him.

Somehow Charles control himself and Emily go away from his sight. Charles was unable to concentrate on the celebrations, as he was thinking about Emily all the time. But his thoughts got disturbed, when he smell an unfamiliar scent in the air. And he didn't take too long to understand that its a rogue.

Rogues never dare to attack on the villages of other side of the gorge, but this side of the gorge is full of human and no werewolves, so they attack here more often, but today when royals were here, how can someone dare to come here. Ears of Charles perks out, as he ordered his guards to spread out and find him and take him away from here.

When the wolf come to the main ground. Charles can see him from so far. Suddenly he realise that Emily went in that direction and she could be in danger. The moment he think that, his beast want to take the control and find her as soon as possible. Charles fight back as he can't shift here in this crowd. He have to find Emily in human form. Without a second thought, he jump into the crowd and start searching for her. But no luck.

Then he heard him. A growl, Full of hunger. And he can tell by the voice, that he is going to attack on someone. He thought that, catching the rogue is more important right now and also if he catches the rogue. He can save everyone including Emily. So he stepped towards the direction of the growl. But when he saw the rogue, the view, drive him and his beast crazy. Rogue was in front of Emily and she was looking devastated. The rogue was just going to dive on her, when Charles used his speed and jumped between both of them. Sudden appearance of Charles made the rogue confused and scared at the same time. But it was too late to regret. Anger was visible on his face and his dark brown eyes turned into blood red already.

Rogue try to escape but Charles was hell angry and the only way to calm him down was the death of the rogue. He wanted to use his fangs and drown all the blood of his body,with his vampire abilities. But that would scare the crowd, so He grab him by his neck and dashed him to the floor forcefully. Then he puch him on face. Suddenly crowd stop moving and start to enjoy the scene. Everyone knew about the mighty first Prince, so this action of Charles is not going to scare anyone. He was just going to tear him apart, when Adam spoke up.

"No brother" his sound was high and firm. He emerged out from the crowd. Now everyone's eyes were on Adam.

He come closer to Charles and tell him to not kill him, so that they can interrogate him. He try to calm him down and also saw the girl behind him. Adam knows that, it's not easy to control Charles, if he lost the control, so he used the girl's name.

"you take care of her, I will take care of him." he pointed towards unconscious Emily.

Charles's grip loosen and he turn around to look at her. She was on the floor, with her eyes closed. His eyes soften and he went closer to her. He can't deny his beast for that long. His senses are not in his control now. He hates to see her suffer. His beast want to take her with him and run to the palace, but that scare her even more, and that is the least thing he prefer. But besides all of this, he was not able to leave her here now. He pick her in bridal style and took away from the crowd.
