BLOOD OF THE ALPHA

Winds of sorrows continue blowing, fire burning in the community, screams and sounds of cries kept roaring everywhere non-stop, many injured and lots of dead bodies and blood lying on the plain floor and people running helter skelter for their lives. The screams were endless. Fire raged through the village, casting a hellish glow across blood-soaked ground. Bodies littered the streets, and the air reeked of death and smoke. Linda ran through the chaos—scared and searching for her mother in the crisis. Her voice raw from crying out. She kept shouting and calling out to her mother in tears. “Mother! Mother! Mother! where are you” she called out. Tears blurred her vision as she stumbled through the wreckage and was terrified . Then—she saw her. Her mother Angela stood locked in battle with an Original Vampire. They moved like shadows, quick and brutal. But then—steel flashed. A silver dagger pierced Angela’s back straight to her heart from behind No!” Linda screamed, her cry rising above the storm. Linda screamed loudly and cried out “Mother, Mother!!!” Angela fell to her knees, blood soaking through her robes. Linda ran, faster than she ever had, her heart pounding. Running towards where her mother was already laying in pains with blood flowing on the floor. Getting to where her mother was, She then held her in tears, pulled the silver dagger out from her mother back, saying to her mother Mother! Please—no, no, stay with me!” she sobbed, cradling her mother’s trembling body in her arms as she cried out bitterly. Angela’s breath came in ragged gasps. She raised a shaking hand and touched Linda’s cheek, her voice soft and broken. “My beautiful daughter… my little queen… It’s time for me to go.” I'm sorry for letting you see me this way, my little queen. Sorry for leaving you this way my daughter” “Mother what are you saying” she replied in tears.“You need to be strong my little queen and once you get older you can become the leader of the pack”. Her mother struggling to speak as tears rolls down her eyes and blood rolling down from her mouth. “I am not talking to you as your mother. I am ordering you as your alpha. It's a world where female rarely rules a pack but I do. You must continue my legacy. Rule the pack and Avenge me”." Linda placing her ear on her mother's chest and discovered her mother heart stopped beating screamed out in tears “No no no this can't be happening”. Diana a member of the cousil saw Linda sitting on the floor crying sorrowfully with her mother in her hands, ran towards Linda as she noticed a vampire was about to strike Linda from behind, she bite and killed the vampire and fell on her knees with a sad and sorrowful look. Placing her hand on their Alpha Angela, as she saw their alpha was dead and paid respect to her saying “Magna dux numquam oblivioni traderetur et in memoriam sequacium suorum viveret.”——meaning a great leader would never be forgotten and would live on in the memories of her followers. She held Linda saying “everything will be fine my dear” Carried Linda on her arms while running for safety with the rest of the packs. Linda couldn't help but kept staring at her mother body which was lying lifelessly on the floor. She kept shouting “No it can't be” in tears while looking at her mother lifeless body on the floor, fainted in the arms of Diana and lost consciousnesses. Two days later….. Fire burning, thunder rumbling as there was a heavy rain fall...Mother!! Mother!!! Mother!!!! Linda screamed out in tears for help as she was surrounded by lots of hungry vampires and flames of fire. Then a bright light appeared in the sky. Linda looked up at the sky. Seeing her mother descend from the sky, she screamed out once again “Help me mother” Her mother fought and killed the vampires and then saved her and said to her, my little queen remember I'll always be here (pointing her fingers to Linda’s heart) with you always no matter what. Hearing her calling out to her mother from her sleep. Diana placed her hands on her head saying softly to herself “ hmmm seems she's dreaming about her mother. So sad she lost her mother in such young age. Linda then regained consciousness, woke up and saw Diana staring happily at her. “It's a blessing you're finally awake my dear” Diana said as she hugs her and said thanks to our ancestors. Heavy footsteps approaching towards Diana’s chamber Noticing Linda was frightened, Diana whispered to her ears “Don't worry you're save here my dear” “Diana, Diana it's time”. Kantos called out as he walks towards the ward and noticed Linda was awake already. Ohh she's finally awake, finally we can discuss on the way forward. “Diana a word outside please” kantos said. Diana standing up from where she was sitted giving Linda a kiss on her forehead “I'm coming dear there's nothing to be scared of”. Walking out of the champer together with Kantos, he stared at Linda strongly that the look made her scared immediately. On getting outside Kantos said “She needs to come with us to the meeting, the meeting must be held today and her presence is needed” Diana hmmmed “Kantos but she just regained consciousness from two days ago. We can't take her to the meeting right now she has been through alot recently and beside she's a little girl who just lost her mother, our alpha, your alpha kantos. Show some respect for her please.” “My Alpha???” Kantos Laughing out loudly. “Angela was never my alpha and she never would be”. You all made her the alpha but deep down in me she was never my alpha. Enough of the talking she's coming with us right now.” Brother please stop this madness Diana pleaded with Kantos. Staring at Diana angrily he shouted “Enough of the talking she's coming with us right now weather you like it or not.” Linda wondering what it is they have been discussing for so long. Couldn't help but kept staring at them from the window. Seeing they both were already heading back inside she quickly laid down back on the bed. Heading towards the chamber door Diana stared at Kantos in disbelief. Opening the door she walked straight towards Linda smiling at her and then placed her hands on her head “it's time for us to go my dear. Linda looking pale responded “where are we going Aunt Diana.” Diana smiled back “Don't worry dear everything's fine, just let's go. You trust me right?? She asked. Linda responded “ Yes I do Aunt Diana, but I'm just scared. “Trust me I know how you feel my dear. Not to worry everything is fine” kissing her forehead “ now let's go and not keep Kantos waiting.” Rising up from where she was lying down. Diana held her hand as they walked towards the door to meet Kantos who was already outside waiting for them. Getting to the car where kantos was waiting Diana stared at him and then opened the door for Linda to get in before she entered the car. Phone ringing as they were driving off. Kantos picked “hello David”. “Hello Kantos where you at?, The council members are here already waiting for you guys arrival” David said. Kantos staring at Linda before answering “Alright, we'd be there in few minutes we're already on our way” Hanging up the phone he looked at Diana saying “You better be of good behavior and know things you'd say once we get to the meeting else you know what I'm capable of.” Diana stared at him and looked at Linda and then stared back at Kantos “I know what you're capable of brother, you need not to remind me.” Footsteps approaching towards the meeting hall. “That must be them coming in already” a member of the council said. Kantos entering the hall with Diana and Linda. Clapping his hands has he saw all the council members sitted. “Welcome coucil of great wolves”. It's an honor for you all to be present here today. Daisy a loyal subject to Angela looked at him “Kantos what's the reason for this sudden meeting when we're still in mourning of our Alpha” Kantos smirked “I called for this meeting to discuss on our way forward”. "Now she, she wolf alpha is dead and it's time for someone to take over, how about I rule?" Kantos said. What!? Her mom our alpha just died. We should atleast ..." Daisy was saying but... Bam! Her head rolled on the floor. Everyone became frightened. “Anyone else have anything to say?” Kantos said Kantos stated how the Ex alpha made them look weak and states his ordinances. Facing the council Kantos shouted with satisfaction saying ‘’Go spread the words to everyone, the coronation of I the new Alpha would be taking place tomorrow’’ For a new dawn has began’’. Linda was frightened, at what Kantos did and said to herself silently “I'll surely avenge my mother someday and rule this pack”.
