Amber, Ebony, and Anna enjoyed a meal together in the Bistro at Lasseter’s Casino. Conversation between the three of them, although hushed, was anything but token and mechanical. They had just successfully robbed a major banking institution of a million dollars in cash. That in itself was a feat worthy of considerable discussion, not to mention quiet celebration.
They were careful to keep their conversation discreet and quickly changed the subject if they suspected a fellow diner or staff member was within earshot. Nothing was going to change the uplifting mood they each enjoyed, but for obvious reasons, it was important that they not be overheard discussing their afternoon’s success.
