Sam and Sarah moved a couple of chairs and sat in front of Russell Foley’s desk. They waited a few moments while Foley studied two photos he held in his hands.
“What’s up, Russ?” Sam asked finally.
“Have a look at these two photos,” Foley said. He placed the two photos side by side on the desk and pushed them forward so they faced Sam and Sarah.
Sam picked up the photos and looked at them. Sarah leaned across and also studied them closely.
“This is the woman from the shopping centre,” Sam said, indicating the CCTV photograph. “Who’s the other woman?”
Foley ignored the question. He looked at Sarah. “Sarah?”
Sarah took the photos from Sam and studied them for a few moments. “It’s the same woman,” she declared finally.
“What?” Sam said.
“It’s the same woman in both photos,” Sarah
