Russell Foley stood in front of a large notice board on the wall. Pinned to the board was a series of photographs taken at the crime scene earlier that day and later developed by the Forensic team as a matter of urgency. Also pinned to the board was a series of notes, hand-written by Foley himself, bearing information, some confirmed, some not, but all deemed to be relevant to the investigation.
Gathered in the Major Crime Incident Room were Sam Rose, Sarah Collins, three plainclothes detectives and four uniformed patrol officers hastily seconded from the General Duties Patrol division.
