Let's Take This Outside

It's been two days and nothing. With all the resources I have, I haven't been able to find not one trace of that woman. I just want to grab her by her long red hair and take everything she has to offer. I know I wouldn't grow tired and be able to hold on all day, every day. Her face was stuck on my mind all night. I had a few visitors these past nights so I could try and forget those eyes, lips, and round tight ass. It wasn't working but I got small much-needed stress relief.

"Henry," I called out.

"Where are you?" he asked. I was still soaking in the tub. He came in and handed me a glass of wine.

"What's wrong love," he said. I was taking a bubble bath and trying to forget my mate and his intense stare. I took a sip of my wine and brought Henry's face down to mine. I kissed him and he passionately kissed me back.

"Don't start something you can't finish," he said after pulling back from my lips. I gave him a pouty look and he got undressed and slipped into the tub with me. He began to massage my shoulders.

"Do you think he is a good man," I asked.

"What you didn't f*******: stalk him yet," he said.

"What?" I questioned.

"Nothing, anyways I am sure he will be a good man to you," he said.

"He doesn't seem kind but he has so much pain and sadness in his eyes," I said.

"Will you accept him if he actually finds you," Henry asked.

" I doubt he will find me but if he did I'm not sure," I answered. I turned around and seductively crawled up to Henry's face. I kissed him and pulled on his hair. He brought his hands to my face and deepened the kiss.

"You smell so good," I told him. I was obsessed with his scent. I think if I wasn't so caught up with my own issues I could have made this work. I didn't want to have Henry just be a pass time but I couldn't offer him my heart no matter how much I cared for him. He helped me turn back around and lay on him. He brought his hand to my breast and caressed them. He then slid his hands down further to the center of my thighs. He ran his fingers over my opening and made circles before inserting them into my warm core.

"You feel amazing," he whispered.

"Don't stop," I said. "Deeper." He went in a bit more and slowly went back and forth. He started to kiss my neck and I went dizzy. His phone started to ring and he lost focus.

"Go ahead, get it," I said. He took out his fingers and got out of the bath. He washed his hands and went to look for his phone. I finished cleaning myself up and went to get dressed. Tonight was Henry's art show and I wanted to be happy and only think of him at the moment. I wore a black lace panel dress with three-quarter sleeves. Henry was looking really good in a white crew-neck tee and black blazer and dress pants. Of course, he was wearing sneakers. He wanted to be well dressed but stand out. Every other guy there would be wearing a tux. We headed down to the art gallery and Marius was already there.

"Excited," he said.

"Yes," Henry replied.

"The guest have already begun to arrive," he said. He led Henry and me inside and the place was a dream. It was beautifully lit and so many amazing artworks were on display. Henry and I made our way towards a few potential buyers. He loved to show me off but I wanted to look at the pieces so I made my way to the far end and let Henry continue to charm his guest. I made a few glances at Henry and we both smiled at each other. Everything was going great. Suddenly an electric shock caught me off guard. I looked at my side and saw a handsome man looking at me. He had a glass of champagne in his hand. He handed it to me and I hesitantly grabbed it.

"You look very beautiful and more covered up than last time," he said. " My name is Christian.

"Sapphire," I replied. He smiled and for a second he seemed to let his guard down. He looked pleased almost happy.

"That is an interesting yet beautiful name," he said.

"Thank you," I said softly. He was staring at my lips and I began to crumble and grow weak. My heart was racing and I knew he could hear it. I knew he was nervous as well. He looked into my eyes and I just wanted to look away but it was hard too. He placed his hand on my cheek and caressed it with his thumb.

"I don't know what I am going to do with you," he said.

"Whatever you want," I responded. I was bold and excited but I knew this was wrong. I let out a breath and licked my lips. I knew he was leaning in closer to kiss me but he looked up and glared at something behind me.

I was growing desperate. I had sent out my men to chase down leads and they always came back with nothing. Finally, Cole came back and said he found the scent in a nearby neighborhood. He said it looked like a fancy event so I told him to get dressed and we would head out soon after. Once we reached the glass building we knew we had found what I had been looking for. I could smell her sweet smell and I was ready to see her. I immediately found her. I looked at her and saw the amused look on her face. How could pictures make anyone that delighted? Her face would get covered by her long wavy hair so I decided to move closer so I could see her better. I got a bit to close and felt an electric shock as soon as my arm grazed hers. I had picked up two glasses of champagne and handed her one as soon as she turned around. I introduced myself and immediately felt joy at the sound of her name. For a second I will let myself fall deep for this woman. For one single second, I will lose all I have, know and believe in for her. I reached over to caress her cheek. I wanted to lean in and kiss her even if it cost me everything. I felt a pair of eyes on me and when I looked up I saw that vamp and a vamp friend staring at me. I wanted to go over there and rip their heads off but I knew there were humans here too. I clenched my fists and suddenly felt a warm hand on my arm. I calmed down a bit but I was still ready to pounce. Liam and Cole were by my side in seconds. She looked concerned and turned around to look at the bloodsucker.

"Please," she said softly. Ugh, that voice made me weak. I wanted to embrace her and shut her up all in the same second.

"I want to go have a few words with him," I told her. She tried to grab me but I managed to move fast enough for her to catch my arm. I walked fast and aggressively towards them.

"Where do you two think you're going," I said to the gentleman that came with my mate.

"Move," the one with the faux hawk said.

"Excuse you," I snapped. The other one took his arm and pulled it back.

"Chill," He said. This one had a short undercut but they both had black hair. The first male tried to walk past me again and I just got in his way again.

"Let's take this outside," I said. "Shall we." I gestured for them to follow me.

"Liam," the other guy said. The guy named Liam nodded and they headed to the back entrance.

"We don't want to hurt you but will if you don't get out of our way," the nameless guy said.

"Cole!" Liam shouted.

"What," he said. "I doubt he is going to make her luna."

"Boys, I don't want to hurt you but I will if you don't f**k off," I said. They looked at me and saw I was dead serious. They heard shouting coming from inside and tried to get past me again. I got angry and pulled on my necklace which was also a very dangerous shocking weapon. I threw the chain at Liam and it snaked around his neck and electrocuted him. I kicked Cole on the side of his stomach. He fell quickly to the ground. I whipped the chain at him to electrocute him too.  I heard something scratching near us. I went over to look and saw a rodent and screamed as loud as I could.

"Where's the rat," Henry said in a non-concerned voice.

"Rat?" Christian questioned. "Who did this to my men?" he asked.

"I'm okay, thanks for asking," I replied.

" I can see your okay," he said.

"What happened?" Marius asked.

"They made me angry," I said. " Then I saw a rodent and well you know."

"I'm lost," Christian said.

"She's scared of rats," Henry told him.

"Not about that, how did you do this?" he asked.

"Every woman should know self-defense," I said. He looked angry at my expression and answer.  He grabbed me and squeezed me tight.

"You hurt my men," he said.

"They were going to hurt me," I said.

"Well now I am going to hurt you, what you going to do about it?" he asked.

"You'll see," I replied. I broke through his grip and kneed him in the balls and uncoiled my necklace again and whipped him until he was knocked out cold.

"Now what?" Henry asked.

"You need to leave her alone or else," I said to the vamp.

"Henry, do you know this mutt?" the other vamp said.

"Listen, little boy, I don't have time for this," the bloodsucker named Henry said.

"Make time, she is mine and I won't have her anywhere near your kind," I snarled.

"She happens to like my kind," he grinned. I wanted to slap his grin right off his face. I reached up to smack him but a human started to come close to him. They thanked him for the invitation and walked away. I brought my hand up again but another human came and gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek. He just smiled but I knew he was enjoying my discomfort.

" I apologize but they are all so eager to be near me just like my darling Sapphire," he said. I wanted to punch him in the face but his friend caught my fist and leaned in to give me a hug. Another human came and hugged Henry and then the other vamp.

"What the f**k," I growled. Suddenly I heard my mate scream and I ran towards the back door. Henry and his vamp friend made it there first but I didn't care. She was safe and sound. I looked at the ground and saw my men on the floor. I was angry and couldn't focus on anything but finding out who was responsible. When I finally got my composure all I heard was "rat." I was confused and angry.

"Rat?" I said. What the f**k, she got scared by a rat.
