Stealing Miss Genius

Chapter One

"Don't you want to come with us and look at your results?" Hazel jumped on Donna's body clinging to her hand, she smiled warmly and widely. Donna looked at her and gave her a look, Hazel retracted from Donna's body immediately after all she knew what that look meant. "I already know how I did, it's a no brainer." Donna answered her and Hazel made a grumpy face indicating to Donna that she knew she was bragging.

"Fine!" Hazel exclaimed "I'll just go alone" she added and Donna smiled at her overly dramatic act. Donna made way to speak with several of her teachers who wanted to get her to participate in some school projects that were clearly for geeks and nerds but there was one she was interested in and that was the Math club and the History club. Hazel got to the big board that showed the positions of the each class and each student and she looked at first place and right there Donna's name was written in bold letters, she wasn't surprised neither were the other students because they already knew that no matter what happens the 1st place was Donna's forever throne. Hazel looked at herself and there she was at number twenty and it wasn't bad considering there were 70 students in her class, she looked for her other friends and there Billy was at number 15 and Hazel's felt sadness creeping in when she saw that Viola was number 66.

"Billy have you seen Viola?" Hazel met her friend holding a packet of chips and a milkshake stuffing her face "Nope." Billy answered with a full mouth and Hazel almost smacked her but she thought of a better punishment "give me those!" she snatched the chips right out of her hands "Hey! those are mine." Billy exclaimed trying to get them back. "Let's find Viola first and then you can have your snacks back." Billy made a bored expression after all she didn't feel like walking all around the school just to find Viola so she broke her promise and told Hazel where to find her and Hazel gave her a disappointed look "What? You know how she gets around this time of the year." Hazel sighed because she knew, she knew that whenever it was time for results Viola was always hiding in a shady place that only she seems to know exists in this school because no other student goes there and she will probably not be doing a healthy normal thing like crying or journaling when one is sad, she will most like be banging her head against the wall or slapping herself. One time they found her with all of Billy's snacks which she got from her locker, surrounded by them and it wouldn't have been a problem because you know sometimes we do unhealthy things to cope and besides snack do go a long way in comforting ourselves except Viola was allergic to nuts and she was busy eating them like you would find a boy eating a banana trying not to seem gay. Viola was busy scratching herself while she continued to eat the nuts and the she started getting swollen and then.....

Hazel ran faster as the memories replayed in her head and when she got at the bleacher stalls she found Viola violating the ground. She had taken off her heels and her blazer as she was busy stomping on the ground doing spins while singing a song she was listening to with her earphones. Hazel watched her for a minute while she was oblivious to her surroundings but after all she thought that nobody would come to find her, she suddenly collapsed out of tiredness from her 'dancing' breathing so loudly and sweating buckets. Hazel sat down next to her and took off her earphone "what are you doing?" she asked in a cheeky tone and Viola opened her eyes trying to steady her breathing "danc-dancing" she answered with a dry mouth and a dry throat "ouch!" Hazel referred to the dancing and the dry throat situation.

"are you feeling better now?" Hazel asked after a silence that lasted a few minutes allowing Viola to gain her composure and she nodded "Cool now let's go" Hazel helped her up and they made way to society with Viola leaning on her like she was a passed out drunkard and Hazel was holding her heels on hand with her blazer they looked like they were doing a walk of shame but it was much worse on Viola.

The holidays were over and it was the last semester of the year which meant only six months to go before the year ends and the girls were back from their holidays all refreshed and they had a lot to show and tell each other. During these midyear holidays they decided to go spend holidays with their respective families so that they can have a vacation together before Christmas. While they were all excited and exchanging what they were up to these holidays the Four Princes of St. Peters approached them, Xander, Alex, Bryce, and Flynn suddenly stopped by them and the girls looked at them. Xander put his arm around Donna and whispered something in her ear and Donna laughed "Join us for lunch ladies" Alex spoke looking at Billy and she nodded without hesitation after all food was her love language. "great see you at lunch" Xander placed a kiss on Donna's cheek and she immediately wiped her cheek while Xander was still looking "ouch!" he clutched his chest and Donna rolled her eyes.

Classes were over and it was lunch time and when Donna exited her class she found Xander waiting for her leaning on the wall with his arms folded, Hazel found Bryce doing the same thing and Billy along with Viola found Alex and Flynn outside of their class. The whole school was watching as the popular girls and their Princes made way to the cafeteria.

Lee-Roy stood at the doorway seeing that almost every table had people sitting on it and some were even near full or full, he was holding his plate and he was hungry as hell but he didn't know where to sit. He scanned the cafeteria one more time and it was still the same results, he sighed as he took a sit right outside the cafeteria on the right side of the door crossing his legs he sat down on the floor and started eating his food. Students who were making way into the cafeteria saw him and gave him weird looks but he didn't care as long as food was going in his stomach he was totally okay with the stares from people who knew nothing about him. Lunch was over and it was time for class and he hoped and prayed that this school didn't do the whole introduce yourself to the whole class thingy because he paid a whole lot of money to be in this school that was made for rich kids and their parent's deep pockets. He got to class and the teacher did exactly what he dreaded.

"Hi. I'm Lee-Roy, I just moved to the neighborhood." he smirked after saying those and the teacher told him to pick a seat. There many available seats and empty desks that he could have chosen from but he sat right next Callum who was busy reading a comic book hiding it with his textbook from the teacher. Lee-Roy smiled when Callum suddenly turned the page when seeing him so that he wasn't caught. He could tell that he was nervous and somewhat annoyed as he kept looking at all those empty seats that Lee-Roy could have chosen from why the hell did he choose this one?

Class was over and Callum was definitely running from him but he caught up with him at the door "I'm Lee-Roy." he extended his hand and Callum looked at it then looked at him "So I have heard." he made a serious face then walked faster but Lee-Roy caught up with him again "So you have heard of me?" he asked his face warm with a smile and Callum looked at him like he was creepy. "what do you want?" Callum asked "Your name and number" Lee-Roy smirked and Callum folded his forehead "I'm not gay!" he exclaimed then Lee-Roy giggled.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" he asked him and Callum shook his head "have you had a girlfriend before?" Callum looked down in embarrassment and Lee-Roy already knew the answer "then how would you know that you're not gay?" he whispered in his ear that had Callum raising his head "I'm not gay!" he wanted to yell it but he was in public and he hated to call attention to himself. Lee-Roy giggled again "fine then what's your name?" Callum looked at him with a bored expression and it was evident that Lee-Roy was trying hard not to smile or laugh "I promise after this I won't bother you with the whole gay stuff." Callum took a deep breath and thought to himself as long as he tells him his name then he will go away "Callum." he answered "Cool I like it." he smiled and fist pumped his shoulder then he left. Callum felt relief and then he made hi way to class, he wasn't aware but Lee-Roy was waiting for him at the door and as soon as he entered the classroom Lee-Roy was right behind him and when he took a seat Lee-Roy took one just right beside him "Hi" Lee-Roy greeted him with excitement like he was a child and Callum felt like he wanted to suddenly murder someone.

Hiii Besties this book is going to be a very interesting short novel. Chapter One was easy but going forward the chapters are going to go hard.
