Chapter One
“What a day!” She exclaimed as she barrelled through the door of their hotel room at a speed. He was surprised she could still accomplish it after the long day they had both had. He followed into the room behind her with a chuckle. Her energy astounded her. It was nearly three in the morning and they had just finished saying their farewells to their guests before coming up to the bridal suite of the hotel where they were staying. It was their wedding day, and what a day it had been. He couldn’t have been happier with how the day had gone. There hadn’t been a single hitch that he knew of, and if there had been, his best friend and best man had dealt with it without bringing it to either his or his new brides’ attention.
He shut the door and locked it behind him before turning around and looking at her as she gazed around their room in astonishment. He smiled tiredly as he took in the sight that is the true love of his life, the woman who had saved him from a dreamy life and brought sunshine and happiness into it. The woman who he had known pretty much from the moment he had met, that he needed her in his life and that he would not survive if he ever let her get away from him. He had truly found his fish in the sea.
Presently, she stood in the middle of the room in a stunning ivory lace-tiered wedding dress with intricate beading and delicate lace-capped sleeves which sat elegantly upon her shoulders. The long train of her dress had been pinned up at the back so she could dance without worrying about tripping over it. Her beautiful platinum blonde hair was put up skilfully on the back of her head with many diamond-studded pins. Her cheeks were rosy from a mix of alcohol and being warm, her whole face glowed with happiness and excitement, whilst her eyes sparkled with glee.
She was perfect, and he still had to pinch himself every so often to remind himself it wasn’t all a dream. They had met only six months earlier, but it had been love at first sight and he had had to have her from that moment on. He already couldn’t imagine life without her. They had become engaged after only two months and four months from that, they had found themselves dressed up and saying I do in front of all of their loved ones.
The final greatness of their whirlwind romance to date was whilst they were dancing their first dance, which had been to All for One sung by Rod Stewart, Sting, and Bryan Adams, she leant up to his right ear and whispered that she was pregnant. He had been so excited about the news; he had felt like he was walking on air. This was indeed the best day of his life.
He smiled deviously at her as he took two long steps and closed the gap between them before pulling her into his arms suddenly. She giggled as he spun her, bent her over his arm and kissed her passionately. Her foot popped out from under her dress to reveal a pair of bright orange shoes to match the yellow and orange colour scheme of their wedding.
“It’s a wedding which won’t ever be stopped.” He told her as he spun her so she was standing facing the Carved Mahogany four-poster bed that overbearingly sat in the middle of the main room. It was adorned with soft white Egyptian cotton sheets which had been covered in deep red rose petals that had overflowed onto the floor around it. A bottle of champagne sat in an ice bucket on the bedside table with two glasses next to it. Playfully, he pushed her upon it as she continued giggling with excitement as to what was to come.
He picked up the bottle of champagne, shook it and popped the cork from it letting the ice-cold spray from it cover her back, making her squeal with a mixture of surprise and anticipation of what was to come. He took a swig of the champagne straight from the bottle as she lay there, her head facing towards the end of the bed, a grin across her face as she heard him begin to undress behind her. She felt him straddle her as he began to undo the zip of her dress, he ran his hand gently over the soft skin of her back before leaning down and licking the sticky champagne from between her shoulder blades before taking some of the skin into his mouth and sucking, causing a moan of enjoyment to escape her lips as he pushed the capped sleeves down from her shoulders, following along with light kisses on her skin. She helped him with them and pulled her arms out so that he could pull the top of her dress down easier. He ran a hand down her arm and under her so that he could cup her breast and tease her n****e to a point. He let out a growl as he felt her breathing begin to quicken in pleasure.
Suddenly she felt warm liquid on her back and heard him grunt. She groaned, this wasn’t fair, it was their wedding night, they should have been able to go through the night.
“Really!?” She declared as he slumped heavily on the bed next to her. She turned her head to look at him and give him an angry mouthful for not being able to control himself.
All that looked back at her was his vacant eyes. She opened her mouth to scream, but before she could, she felt something cold and sharp against her neck. Whoever was there lifted the many skirts of her dress, and she felt him push himself sharply into her, having decided not to wear any underwear. There was nothing in his way. She tried to scream but the knife in her throat caught the scream, making it come out as a gurgle. Once he’d finished, she felt the knife swipe across her neck and a burning sensation at her throat. Seconds later, she felt warm liquid run down her neck and she realised she couldn’t breathe in the moments before everything for her went dark.
