The Alpha King's Blood Oath

" My Son needs your consent Alpha Meridius, I need your consent." Said the Vampire King Alfred Augusta Drake. His blonde brows were furrowed darkening his blue eye's, he had high cheekbones, a pointed nose with well-shaped lips that suited his jawline, it made him look allot like Michelangelo's Renaissance Sculpture of David including the hot cut body that was covered in a black tunic and matching straight's. He was very desperate but was never going to show how much to the Alpha King Meridius Hart. Brushing a piece of blonde hair out of his face he stared straight into the Alpha King's emerald green eye's trying not to show any form of fear to the beast who sat across from him, finally, Meridius turned away giving Alfred time to breath, if the Vampire King had of turned away first it would have shown Meridius he was weak and willing to do anything, though it was known out of all the creature's in there realm the Vampire King would be about the only creature to challenge him and possibly win, this was not why he was here, he was here to save his Son and nothing more.  His eye's roamed the office while Meridius was busy with paperwork it was like any normal office, Wooden Oak Desk, the leather lounge's for when he had more than 2 guests, book's that filled shelves stretching across one entire wall the room was dull and dark just like the Alpha King he thought, The only thing that lit up the room was a fireplace that lit up a portrait of the Alpha King and his Luna or Queen, his brows deepened again as he stared at her, he must have stared for some time for he was suddenly brought back to reality by a growl that was directed at him.  " Keep staring at my mate and I will end you and your race." growled the Alpha King. Werewolves were just like wolves they were very protective over what belonged to them especially Alpha's, it was well known that an Alpha would wage war for his Luna and in times wipe out the entire race, hence why the Alpha King was the most feared creature in our realm he was heartless and that was an understatement.  " Apologies Alpha Meridius she reminds me of a girl I grew up with," he replied quickly, " Before I met my Beloved her name was Hestia, it is a remarkable resemblance," Meridius growled lowly but nodded rising from his chair and dropping some papers in his lap. " Read those Alfred see if that is to your liking," Meridius mumbled. Meridius stood in front of the portrait and stared up at it as the Vampire King Alfred started to read. His emerald eye's started to darken the longer he glared at his wife, they changed from his emerald green to black then yellow ending with gold, an evil smirk appeared on his face hidden from Alfred as he glared back at him for a moment, his black hair was tied back to show his squarish Jawline that complimented his full lip's and dark eye's, light scars were scattered across his face and showed in lines across his eyebrow's making him oddly handsome. " So Alfred,"  he then spoke, " Why is it your son need's werewolf blood and flesh to survive? do you know?" Meridius asked. Alfred looked up from the contract he was only halfway through the reading but before he could reply to the question Meridius asked another. " Will I get to meet your son? Prince??" he paused waiting for a reply, Alfred shook his head a little embarrassed,  " I am so sorry Meridius," Alfred replied shaking his head, "I was so wrapped in finally having this meeting with you I forgot about introducing my son to you personally, his name is Prince Jacob Cornelius Drake he awaits outside," Alfred pointed to the door, then continued to answer all the Alpha's questions. " As for the blood and flesh, Jacob was born a full Blooded Vampire with several deformed and missing chromosome's, it seems the only way to keep him alive is by him consuming werewolf flesh and blood until my scientist can find a cure of course." Meridius nodded curiously, " Lucky for you our Realm is advanced not like the Human realm they are still living in caves," he chuckled turning his back on Alfred again. It is well known that a werewolf has a second voice that of the wolf which at times can be helpful and other times not so much but for Meridius this time was a good time. "We can get more out of this Meridius," his wolf said urgently in his mind. " like what Rufus," he replied, there was a short silence, " Well think about it you i***t human," he growled, " Just talked Rufus," said Meridius trying to keep his calm composure in front of Alfred. " How many of our kind will his son need before they find a cure? hundred's maybe thousands?" " And," " how many wars will we be in, provoked or not? Alfred need's his heir more than we do." Meridius nodded in agreement, out of nowhere came a third voice. " Blood Oath," it said deeply, Meridius looked around quickly, Stared at Alfred for a few seconds then turned away. " There are no contract's just a bloodletting of the 2 making the deal and 2 witnesses," " Rufus," Meridius thought concern in his thoughts. " Not me," replied Rufus with a growl. Meridius began to feel uncomfortable something was invading his mind being the strongest being present he began searching the room. " Alfred knows of the Blood Oath Meridius," the voice said again," let me explain what it is?" " Go ahead explain, then explain how the f**k you got into my mind?" " Wow calm down, but ok, Until they return the favor with a Blood Oath which is a death of your choice, the contract cannot be broken it can last for thousands of year's and they are bound to you until then." Meridius looked around again taking a deep breath, " What if they deny the death I want?" " Then you can wipe them out, even if you don't they will die throughout 2 maybe 3yr's," He let out an evil chuckle. " And even better if you die before the blood oath is re-paid both of your races just simply die over 4yr's so win, win on your behalf."  The Alpha King turned back to Alfred becoming curious as to why Alfred hadn't spoken of the Blood Oath.  " What is it you want in return? and who the hell are you?" he then questioned loudly showing his authority Rufus began to growl feeling his host getting even more upset. " All I ask for is 2 things, A wife of your bloodline and a World War in my name," the voice was silent for a second, " of course I will throw in a god's healing ability don't want you dying before I get my Wife, do I?" he then said trying to make the offer more tempting. Meridius let out a growl of his own unknowingly thinking hard to himself. " Tell me you are not gonna agree to this Meridius," Roared Rufus, " Think about it, thousand's of years with the Vampire Nation in your debt until that one death that you and only you can choose," there was another short silence. " A but! there is always a but," mumbled Rufus, angry that Meridius was not listening to him. " Not a but, a rule more like it," replied the voice. " The sacrifice, if it is of a royal bloodline, can only be killed on the day of there birth and the night of there 18th birthday with a 24hr window to do it. If they fail and kill the subject before there coming of age the big bad scary Hades takes the 4 who made the contract on the spot to be given the worst of punishments possible not that bad right," the voice started humming uncaringly. " Who the hell are you?" Meridius asked again. " Not until you make the Blood Oath," replied the voice full of confidence. " Don't do this Meridius, giving up one of our pup's is insane, it will drive us crazy," Growled Rufus trying to take over Meridius's body, he wanted nothing to do with this. Meridius grinned and pushed Rufus to the back of his mind, blocking him from the rest of the meeting knowing he would try to sabotage any choices he made.  Alfred did a double-take look at the Alpha King strangely, wondering what he was thinking,  " Meridius are you alright?" he asked a little worry in his tone, Meridius turned slowly his eyes of now gold returning to the Emerald Green before they rested on Alfred. " Actually, Alfred, I have another proposition for you," Meridius took the contract quickly not giving Alfred any time to protest, tearing it up into many pieces and throwing it into the fireplace that burnt bright, he smiled proudly as if he had just discovered a new toy he was happy, this, however, worried Alfred deeply. " You are going to need a witness and who better than your son," He raised his head proudly mind linking his Beta to bring the boy and any other Vampires that were there. " Have you heard of a Blood Oath Alfred?," The Vampire King's chair scraped across the wooden floorboards as he pushed it back, his eyes darkening quickly. " It seems our meeting has come to an end Alpha Meridius," he growled.  Meridius laughed clapping his hands and rising once again, " So your son and heir is not worth it, let him die is your response." Alfred roared in anger standing chest to chest with Meridius both there eye's now black and full of rage. "Are you challenging me in my own home Alfred, a big mistake if you are," Meridius shook his head letting out a low growl. " Would you sacrifice your Heir, Meridius if you could save him," hissed Alfred. Without a second thought, Meridius replied, " In a heartbeat," he grinned wickedly, " Now again, Are. You. Challenging. Me. Alfred." Alfred's Black eye's shifted to the door quickly then back to Meridius as a knock was heard, his son or possibly his son's best friend Lincoln stood behind that knock a challenge right now would put them at risk leading to there death. "No Alpha Meridius I wouldn't dear," he stepped back and bowed slightly. "Enter," Meridius growled. Two Boy's round the age of 6 entered followed by 4 guards and 2 other men. " Son, Lincoln, I would like to introduce you to the Alpha King Meridius Hart," Alfred said as calmly as possible, There was a lot of tension in the room but Alfred held his arm up with an open palm toward Meridius. a sign of respect. They both stepped forward together like they were connected at the hip, One had sky blue eyes that kept in contact with Meridius as they bowed, his blond hair was streaked with silver and it hung loosely around his face he was quite fearless.  The other had dark brown eyes with flecks of gold they were said to be the guardians of the Royal Vampire bloodline born at the same time or a few minutes after to be raised together as brother's, Meridius grinned, if these boys were adults he might have felt a little intimidated at there courage. "An honor to meet you, Alpha King," they said bravely. " The honor is mine Young Prince, and Guardian," he pointed to the lounge, " Please take a seat your father and I were just about to discuss a new contract that needed your input." His smile spread from ear to ear as he knew Alfred would not turn it down not now with his son's life on the line and him being present, he moved toward the large Oak door and closed it.
