That Changed Everything

“Phoebe, can I ask what is the reason why you like him?” Frost turn his full attention at Phoebe. They’re currently sitting on the rooftop, watching the millions of stars shining at the night sky. “Do I need a reason to like him? It’s just.. It’s just like my heart was pulled towards him” When Phoebe said that her eyes shine like those stars they’re watching. The young lady really like that man she’s talking about “Have you heard something like that before?” She added. “Hmmm..” Frost didn’t know what to say, instead he look away and continue staring at the night sky “I thought you like him because he is gently, sweet, smart or something like that” He said as if he know who she was talking about. Phoebe silently laugh at what he said. She looked at Frost with a smile on her face before she said.. “Of course I like him because of those reasons, but I ultimately like him because he is him, because his words, his ways and presence make me feel safe and comfortable. He makes me feel home” Frost gently smile at Phoebe when he saw that the young lady’s eyes were shining. Seeing how happy Phoebe while telling those things to Frost made him feel relief “What was it like being by his side?” Phoebe didn’t answer for a moment, she stare at the sky and let out a sigh while his face form a smile “It feels like you’re laying in the clouds” Her smile grew bigger “It’s like a warm sunlight that’s always there, right by your side to make you feel warm” Phoebe suddenly lay down at the rooftop while Frost just watch her. “No matter how ugly or silly I look he never left my side but instead he joined me. His presence never made me feel like I need to be pretty to make him like me” Phoebe answered. Frost lay down next to her and watch her watching the stars. “Silly, you are never ugly” He whispered to himself “Did he like you too?” Curiosity was killing him, he don’t want to hear the answer because he know that it will only hurt him but he thought that if he didn’t hear this he will regret it. Forever. Phoebe slowly turn his attention into his. They’re looking at each other’s eyes but they feels like they’re still watching the stars shining because of their eyes. It was usually cold at night but when their eyes locked it suddenly made them feel warm. Phoebe smile at him but she didn’t say anything, she just smile at him and ask Frost a question. Frost didn’t know what to say so he did what he think was right. And that’s where their life changes.. because of what Frost does their fates change..
