"The last one to the river is doing the dishes tonight," Kar said to Dean as she mounted Mercury with his help.
She had been able to get on and off a horse by herself since she was five but to Dean Blackstone, she could not do anything on her own. Kat assumed that if Dean had his way she would not even brush her teeth by herself. He was such a mother hen it was so sweet.
"What do you mean doing the dishes tonight? I always do them," Dean responded as he moved Zeus to stand next to her.
"You are no fun Dean," Kat grumbled pouting a little.
"Excuse me, I am plenty of fun," Dean told her dramatically. " Last one to the river owes the other a favor," he said then nudged Zeus into a sprint.
"Hey, that's cheating," Kat shouted at him as she followed suit.
"Tough luck cowgirl," Dean called
