Dean watched Kat play around in the water without a care in the world. He knew that was not even close to the truth. That woman had been through so much and she still smiled and laughed. After eating they had stayed seated just lightly talking. Dean was amazed at how easy it was to just have a random conversation with her. Nothing forced or pushed or even any hidden agendas. He got to know about her childhood and how New York was too busy and fast for her. He also realized how clueless she was when it came to her family's ways of life.
