Raz showed her around the whole pack, including the new packhouse. She seemed to be eager to see around the pack, and the more she saw, the calmer she was. He was happy that she was starting to be comfortable here, and he was walking her through the small town.
They stopped for lunch at one of the local restaurants, let her pick whatever she wanted to eat and even stopped for ice cream. He was leading her back to the bar, and saw her tilt her head. "I live here until the packhouse is done. The previous owner had a little apartment upstairs, with a few spare rooms."
He saw a familiar vehicle, and couldn't help but chuckle. "Looks like Gamma Kai is here." He led her inside the bar, and smirked when he saw Kai standing at the bar talking with Psych.
He saw a cute looking child with blonde hair in his arms, but was surprised she had ears and a huge fluffy tail. "Gamma Kai, how good to see you again." He watched the silver-haired man turn to them with a grin. "Hello Alpha Raz, I believe you requested to meet the future Alpha of the Clawing pack. This is Kaz, my eldest."
He saw Delilah eagerly step over to Kai looking at the little girl. "Hello there." He watched girl look at Delilah with a shy smile before hiding her face in Kai's chest. "Hi."
Raz stepped over, and looked down at her before looking up at Kai. "She's truly beautiful. Congratulations." He watched Kai place a soft kiss on her forehead, before looking at Delilah, and held out his hand. "I'm Gamma Kai of the Red River pack."
Delilah took his hand, shaking it gently. "I am Delilah, a fire faerie from the faerie realm." Kai eyes widened as he tilted his head. "You were supposed to arrive in my pack. I am glad you ended up here, not somewhere worse." He watched him reach into his leather jacket before pulling out a letter.
He held it out to Delilah, and she took it curiously. "It's from your mother. Rei had it delivered to Rubeus last night, and he gave it to me to give to you since I was headed this way."
He watched her holding the letter tight to her chest as tears came to her eyes. "Thank you so much, Gamma Kai." Kai nodded at her. "You are always welcome in the Red River pack anytime, but I promise that Alpha Raz is one of the most decent Alpha out there. He has several faeries in this pack. He actually took over this pack because it was dying, and made it a home. Cost him a pretty penny I bet."
Raz shook his head chuckling gently. "It's worth it since the Kitsune have been through so much. Kai here used to be a member of this pack, and his own mother was trapped here, and forced to mark, and mated to the Beta."
Kai nodded. "Yes, unfortunately, my father wasn't a nice man, and he tried to mate my sister to the Alpha despite her not being of age." He turned toward the stairs to see Kad running down bright glowing green eyes, and she had ears and a tail out. Which surprised him.
She was in front of Kai in seconds, dancing on the tips of her toes as she held up what looked like a plush of a bird. "Did you find your bird, Eve?" He watched her nod her head eagerly, before Kai leaned over, placing a soft kiss on her lips. "So adorable."
Her tail and ears sunk back into her body as her eyes stopped glowing. "Sorry she was excited. I found what I was looking for." Kai shook his head gently. "I love it when she gets excited." He set Kaz down, and she was looking up at his brother behind the bar, tilting her head.
He watched Psych play peek-a-boo with her, causing her to giggle before he walked around from behind the bar, and Kaz ran over to him as he held his hand out to her. "Hi I'm Psych, nice to meet you cutie." He shook his head, turning back to Kad. "Kad this is Delilah, I hope you found everything you were looking for."
Kad smiled eagerly at Delilah, waving at her gently, before nodding her head. "Yes, actually, you can donate the rest of my clothes to the pack. I don't need anything else in the room anymore." He watched her fiddle with the plush bird, before looking over at Kaz frowning.
He looked over seeing Psych was kneeling down in front of the girl with his head tilted to the side. Kaz was looking at her hands in confusion, before looking up at Psych. "Nice to meet you." She waved at him before running back over to her mother taking the bird plush with excitement. "Mommy, it's cute, can I have it?"
He watched Kad chuckle as Kaz was already cuddling the bird. "Of course, sweetie." He saw Psych staring at Kaz in confusion, and Kai looked at Psych with a raised eyebrow. "Kad, why don't you meet me at the car, and take Kazzy with you."
Raz watched Kad nod before picking up her daughter, and leaving the bar with Delilah. He watched Kai point a finger at Psych. "What did you see?"
His eyes widened, as he looked at Psych confused as he frowned. "I saw her being betrayed by her mate. How could I have seen that?"
Kai sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Great, I already don't like that little s**t being her mate, and now this. Bastet sometimes blesses Kaz with visions. Please don't tell anyone, or I'll have you both killed."
Raz held a hand up. "I give you my word I won't say anything Kai, that would just put that little girl in danger." He looked at Psych, and he stepped over to Kai. He could see he was struggling with something, and he frowned. "Psych?"
Psych looked at him, before looking at Kai. "I would never do anything to hurt Kaz. I give you my word, I will always protect her, but I should tell you that once her bond with him is broken. She is to be my mate."
He looked at his brother with surprise, and looked at Kai. He was pinching the bridge of his nose with his eyes closed, taking deep breaths, before lowering his hand. "You break my daughter's heart, and I'll break your neck. If that little s**t wasn't the Beta's son, and he was young, I'd kill him. You I will murder without question."
Psych immediately held his hands out, shaking his head. "Gamma Kai, I assure you that is not my intention. I am faithful to my mate, and I have been waiting for her. I haven't so much as looked at another's direction, or been with anyone. I always wanted to wait for my mate, and I will continue to do so."
Kai looked over at him, and he nodded. "It's true, we make fun of him for it." He watched Kai shake his head with a sigh. "Now I have to try not to murder that little shit." He pointed at Psych. "You have my blessing so long as you keep it in your pants. You should also know she will be Alpha. She is meant to lead a pack, and you will have to move there for her."
Psych nodded his head eagerly. "If she accepts me I will happily move to her pack, and she can lead. I will lead by her side." He watched Kai walk out of the bar, and looked at Psych. "You know he's the best assassin, I wouldn't recommend pissing him off brother."
He saw Psych nod slowly. "He's very scary."
