Chapter 36

1205 Words
Delilah eagerly sat on the couch, excitement filling her, as she waited for Raz. He came not long later with a bowl of something, and when he sat down he draped an arm over the back of the couch. She eagerly moved beside him as he offered her the bowl. "Popcorn." She picked up a piece, popping it into her mouth, testing the taste. It was salty, it almost melted in her mouth. She leaned against him as he started the movie, and she took his arm from the back of the couch, putting it around her. She couldn't help but cuddle him as the movie started. She instantly felt bad for the girl who couldn't control her gift. She had a few similar experiences when she was finally able to use magic. She had blown up her room a few times, but her mother would always come in and fix it. Delilah was crying by the end of the movie, feeling bad for the little girl. She would have done the same thing if she had been in her shoes, and she felt Raz's arms tighten around her. She was glad she finally got her revenge, and wondered if she would ever get hers. She secretly hoped that Alpha would feel pain every time she was with Raz, and he truly knew how much she suffered at his hands. She felt Raz's hand go through her hair, and she looked up at him. "Are you okay, Delilah?" She nodded as she slipped her arms around his neck, and gently kissed him on the lips. She could already feel better just being with him, and wondered why. The more time she spent with Raz, the less she wanted to go home, and the more she wanted to stay with him. It wasn't long before they were in his bed naked, and she was riding him. Delilah curled up against him when they were both exhausted, and she was completely wrapped around him with him playing with her hair as she drifted off to sleep. She woke a few hours later in the room feeling oddly very warm, almost like fire. Her eyes opened as she couldn't see anything in the room, and realized it was filled with smoke. She immediately shook Raz. "Raz wake up please, something is wrong." Her eyes widened when he didn't move, and she panicked instantly, pressing her head to his chest, hearing a faint heartbeat. She crawled off the bed, ran to the bedroom door, slamming it shut. She quickly ran back to the bed, and pulled Raz off the bed, dragging him to the window. "Please don't die, I need you." She quickly opened the window, seeing there was a balcony just outside, and she quickly shoved Raz through the window using all her strength. She could hear several people shouting out front of the bar. "Oh my goddess, the bar is on fire!" She dragged Raz down the stairs as carefully as she could, trying not to fall. "Damn, despite being so thin you are heavy." She heard Lydia's voice shouting up at her. "Delilah, are you all right?" She was surprised how fast Lydia climbed the stairs to her. "Oh goddess Alpha Raz!" Delilah couldn't help but feel relief as Lydia helped her carry him the rest of the way down the stairs, and threw Raz into the backseat of his truck. "Get in Delilah, I'll drive." She climbed into the seat beside Raz, resting her head against his chest as her eyes filled with tears. "Don't worry Delilah, he should be fine." She buried her face in his chest as she felt the truck stop, and the door was opened, and he was pulled away from her. She watched them put Raz on some sort of thing, and rushed him into the hospital. She stepped out of the truck as a blanket was wrapped around her, and not even caring she was naked. "Let's get you looked at too." She looked at Lydia, wiping the tears from her eyes. "I'm fine, I can breathe in fire, and smoke doesn't bother me." She was led inside, and helped clean up before being taken to Raz's room. She sat down in the chair beside the bed as he was hooked up to some sort of thing. Delilah took hold of his hand, and buried her face against it as she sobbed gently, and Lydia sat beside her gently massaging his back. "He will be fine, Delilah." She cried herself to sleep, and stirred slightly, as she felt herself being lifted, and curled against something soft but hard. She could smell Raz calming scent as she wrapped her arms around him. "She hasn't left your side, Raz. Cried herself to sleep, even worried you wouldn't wake up." She felt his fingers run through her hair, as she nuzzled against his chest, feeling him press his lips against her forehead. "I am more worried about her, and just glad she wasn't harmed. What happened to the bar Lydia?" She heard a soft sigh. "Well, from the look of it, Alpha, someone broke several of the bottles and purposely burned the bar down. Despite everything being burned, I think they forgot we stored the security footage in the cloud. We reviewed the footage to see it was Brooke, but she's no longer in the pack." Her eyes opened at the loud growl, and Raz arms were around her. "Sorry love, you can go back to sleep." He pressed her head back to his chest as she nuzzled close to him. "I'm so happy you are okay." Delilah felt him gently massage her back, as he spoke to Lydia. "I want her punished if she's found. I want you to report this to all our surrounding packs, and if she goes there. I want her captured, and returned here immediately." She looked up at Raz, and he smiled down at her, placing a soft kiss on her lips. She eagerly returned it, snaking her arm around his neck and pulling him tight against her. "I'll leave you two alone." She felt one of his hands leave her back, as he waved it at Lydia before placing it on her cheek. She heard someone loudly clearing their throat, and Raz reluctantly broke the kiss to look at Psych standing there. His face was filled with relief, and he shook his head, smirking at them. "I drove twice the speed limit to get here within an hour. The least you could do is acknowledge my presence." Raz chuckled softly as he pulled her against his chest, pulling the blanket up over them. "I'd have preferred you drove slower, brother, so you wouldn't have ended up here with me." She watched Raz face turn into a frown as his eyes were dull, and she looked at Psych, seeing his face the same way. She felt Raz's arms tighten around her, and he shook his head. "Enough." She looked up at Raz confused, and he placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "What's wrong?" He shook his head again. "Nothing, don't worry about it." She couldn't tell if he was talking to her, or his brother.
