Chapter 37

Raz kept Delilah close, as he looked at his brother, seeing him with a worried expression. 'What is it?' He couldn't help but mindlink not wanting to worry Delilah.

Psych looked at him with a slight frown. 'You have to send her home.' He couldn't help but let out a growl. 'Don't be angry with me if you don't send her home, Raz or she will..' He couldn't help but break the link. "Enough!"

He pulled Delilah tight against him, and placed a soft kiss on her forehead as she looked up at him confused. "What's wrong?" He shook his head. "Nothing, don't worry about it."

Psych frowned at him again. 'She'll die if she stays here, Raz.' She couldn't help but glare at his brother. 'You don't know that!' He felt his brother step forward, taking hold of one of his arms. 'I saw it. Kaz, I don't know how she did it, but she showed me. He will find her here, and take her right from under your nose. She will be tortured all over again. I know you don't want that.'

He buried his face in Delilah's hair, holding her close, as Psych sighed, shaking his head. "Just think about it." He watched his brother walk out of the room. "Did I do something wrong?"

He looked down at Delilah, shaking his head gently. "Of course not. You could never do anything wrong." He wondered if Alpha got a hold of her now, if he would feel pain. He could slightly feel the bond now, and couldn't get the worry out of his head.

Raz couldn't help but double up the warriors around the hospital, and breathed in Delilah's sweet scent. "What's wrong, Raz?" He looked down at her, and smiled gently. "Do you still want to visit your mother tomorrow?"

Her eyes widened in surprise, before her face took on worry. "But what about you? Should you stay here?" He waved a hand. "I'll be fine, besides I am as good as new now, thanks to you. The least I could do to repay you is take you to see your mother."

She smiled up at him, and he could help but lean down to press his lips against hers in a soft kiss. She broke the kiss, turning in his arms to lean against his chest as he held her in his arms.

Raz smiled as she quickly fell asleep, and he couldn't help but just watch her. He was going to try to commit every part of her to memory, and wondered if she would eventually come back to him.

If she wanted to stay in her realm, he couldn't even blame her because this one had been so cruel to her. He woke in the morning when his brother walked into his room. "Beta Jayce will be here in twenty minutes to take you to the Kingdom."

Psych set clothing down on the chair, before leaving the room, and he slipped out of bed, Delilah following him. He took the clothes, and carried them to the bathroom, holding a hand out to her. "Shower with me?"

He watched her face brighten, and she eagerly took his hand as he led her into the bathroom. They took a quick shower, and he dried her off before they got dressed.

Raz led her out of the hospital as a long black limo pulled up, and Jayce got out. "Alpha Raz, how have you been?" Jayce held his hand out to Delilah, taking it with a shake. "Nice to finally meet you, Delilah. My mate has told me a lot about you. Queen Ruby is on the way to the castle to meet you."

He watched Delilah's face instantly light up. "Queen Ruby's coming?" She looked up at him with a huge smile. "Have you met her yet?" He nodded. "I have met her a few times for mating balls. Though I was sorry to hear about the loss of her mate."

Beta Jayce frowned. "Sadly, it has changed her, and she hasn't quite recovered from it. However, she was informed you were coming to the castle today, and insisted on being there."

He saw Lydia walk over with two bags in her hand, resting them on the ground. "I packed you a few things, Delilah." He was surprised when Lydia hugged her tightly, whispering in her ear. "I hope to see you again soon."

Delilah returned the hug tightly, before releasing her as Jayce grabbed the bags and throwing them in the trunk of the limo. He looked at Lydia. "You got the pack?"

She smiled at him with a nod. "Of course. Psych will be taking your truck following you up to the Kingdom." He shook his head, before getting into the back of the limo with Delilah. He sat beside the window, and she moved to sit beside him as Jayce got in from across them.

Jayce tapped the window as the door shut, and they started to drive. He was surprised that the journey to the castle wasn't that long, and they arrived sooner than he expected. The one time, he wanted it to take forever, and instead it went quickly.

He was surprised to see Queen Rei standing at the bottom of the steps as they pulled up to the castle. Delilah eagerly got out of the limo as she bowed her head to Rei speaking to her in fae.

Rei smiled at Delilah, before turning to him. "Welcome to our kingdom again, Alpha Raz. We thank you for taking in one of our own, and caring for her as if she was."

He bowed to Rei with respect. "Of course my Queen." He was surprised to see a woman who looked a lot like Delilah, except she had bright red wings, grabbing hold of Delilah's face, and showering it with kisses, talking to her in fae.

Delilah grabbed hold of the one, sobbing gently, as she buried her face in her shoulder. "Mom." He watched as Delilah was led toward the castle, and she stopped holding a hand out to him. "Mom this is Alpha Raz. He saved me."

He smiled at the woman, lowering his head in respect to her mother. "Raz is this is my Mom Danaya." He was surprised when Danaya grabbed hold of him, hugging him. "Thank you for helping my baby."

Delilah giggled gently, as he awkwardly stood there, and she gently took her Mom's arm. "He doesn't like being touched, Mom."

Danaya shook her head. "I apologize, Alpha Raz, I was just showing you my thanks." He shook his head. "It's fine you may touch me." She smiled at him, before looking back at Delilah. "I am sorry your sister couldn't be here. It appears her mate is very sick, and cannot travel, but Queen Ruby will be here shortly."

He followed Delilah inside the castle, as Ruby walked down the hall towards them.
