Delilah couldn't help but brush her cold hands against his neck for warmth as she kissed Raz. He let out a low growl, and a slight gasp as he suddenly grew hard beneath her. She pulled back from him, seeing his face blush slightly. "You touched my marking spot. I'm sorry."
He looked so cute as he looked at her with slight embarrassment, and she smiled at him. "No need to be sorry, I should be the one to apologize. I didn't mean to touch it. What is that, and where is it?" He tapped her left hand, and he brushed her hair off her right shoulder.
His fingers brushed over the spot where Alpha marked her, and was surprised to feel tingles as his fingers brushed against it. "This is a marking spot. Most lycans and wolves have one. It's where their mate will mark them."
Her eyes closed feeling the tingles, and couldn't help but grind against his erection. She slipped her hand behind his head, grabbing his hair, pulling his mouth to hers. She kissed him hard, and smiled when he growled against her lips.
She could help but run her fingers through his soft silky hair as she kissed him. His hands ran up her thighs, sending shivers through her, and she felt one of his hands leave her, and the blanket was suddenly around her hips and legs.
Delilah heard a low familiar growl, and was frozen against his lips as she slowly pulled away. She turned her head to see Beta's brown wolf that almost killed her, and it was walking down the path toward them.
She immediately moved behind Raz. "He's come to take me back. Don't let him take me please Raz." She gripped onto Raz shoulder hard.
She watched him turn his head, looking at the wolf with a curious look as another approached from behind Beta's wolf. "Now how did you get past the borders?" He reached behind him. "Delilah honey, get in the truck, and lock the doors."
She looked at the wolves, and then at him. "No, what about you?" He didn't take his eyes off the wolves as they kept walking closer, and he stripped off his leather jacket. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine, just get in the truck."
Delilah quickly turned to the other side of the truck, and climbed over to the opposite side, and turned to look at Raz as he hopped over the other side, shifting instantly into a very large white wolf. She could clearly see it over the side as he growled out to the other wolves.
She watched the other wolf dash over, and Beta's wolf dodged him to run toward her. She climbed into the truck, locking one side, then climbing over the seat to lock the other. Beta's wolf launched at the window, and she turned her head, bracing for the smash, but the truck just wobbled.
She looked back at the window, seeing just a smear of what looked like saliva, and she looked out the window to see Beta's wolf dazed, and shaking his head. The window wasn't even scratched, and she looked over to see that Raz's white wolf had already torn apart the other wolf.
Delilah watched Raz wolf focus on Beta, and saw his wolf take a step forward, issuing a loud growl. Beta realized just how much bigger his wolf was to Raz's, and watched him look at her in the truck, before trying to turn in run, but it was too late.
Raz had already jumped at him, and was biting at his paws. She watched Beta's wolf try to grab hold of Raz's neck, but the teeth just sunk into the fur. She was expecting to see blood, but Raz just lifted his head and shook Beta off with ease before grabbing hold of his throat.
She watched as Raz lifted Beta's wolf, standing on his back legs and shaking him like a rag doll until she heard a large crack. Raz threw the wolf down to the ground as he got back on all fours, and looked around. She saw a few Kitsune, including Lydia's, standing nearby.
She slowly opened the door, sliding out of the truck as Raz came over to her, and she threw her arms around his neck and buried her face in his fur. She was surprised she couldn't even run her fingers through it. Despite being soft, it was very thick and coarse. "Thank you."
She couldn't help sobbing with relief at the fact at least one of her tormentors was dead, and nuzzled her face into Raz's fur. "Delilah, are you all right?" She nodded her head as she pulled her head from Raz's neck, and couldn't help but giggle.
He was panting with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth, looking very adorable despite being almost as tall as her, and she was tall. She looked back at the body expecting to be a wolf, but it was Beta's body instead.
She noticed Lydia standing there in a long shirt, and she was holding a pair of pants. "You recognize him?" She nodded, as she walked over to the body as Raz shifted. "This was Beta." She looked over at the other, but it was very mangled.
Delilah looked over at Raz, as he was throwing on his pants, and she quickly looked away. "Does that mean Alpha knows where I am?" She felt a hand on her shoulder, as Raz squeezed it gently. "I doubt it, they could have been scouting. Alpha would have felt his Beta's death, but I doubt he had time to tell him you were here."
Lydia smiled gently at her, before looking at Raz with a frown. "They dosed Alex with wolfsbane, and tied him up to a tree. That's how they were able to cross our borders. Looks like they took the path along the waterfront until they found you."
She wrapped her arms around Raz's waist, and rested her head against his chest. "Thank you so much, I thought he was going to be able to take him back. I would never have survived going back there."
Raz gently rubbed her back with one hand, and slipped his other arm around her. "I told you I would protect you. The truck was the safest place for you. I made sure it was reinforced when I bought it. It would take a miracle for him to get inside if something happened to me."
She didn't like the idea of anything happening to him, and clung to him tighter. She was so glad she decided to stay with him, and felt almost truly safe. She still had that fear Alpha would still try to take her, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched.
"Lydia, please take a bunch of warriors, and search the pack to make sure there is no one else. I'm going to take Delilah back to my place." Raz lifted her up, and she wrapped her arms around her neck, and her legs around his waist, as he carried her back to the truck.
She refused to let go when he tried to put her in the passenger seat, and he chuckled gently as he went around to the driver's side, and climbed in with her in his lap. He started the truck, and headed to his home.
