I only get about five hours of sleep before I have to get up and get ready for my morning shift in the kitchen. It only takes me about five minutes to get ready and get down there since I showered last night, and thank the Goddess I did because as soon as I walk into the kitchen Belinda descends on me.
“Thank goodness, I was about to come to your room and get you!”
I take a quick peek at my watch I’m right on time, “I’m not late, am I?” I ask, even thought I know I’m not, I’m also the first one in here. The others usually end up filtering in a few minutes after our day is supposed to start.
