Lucy POV
“Holy s.hit,” I look up and see the back of Trish’s head running through the door out of the swimming area.
“f***k,” Maddox growls as he leans back into me and places his forehead against mine. “That was stupid, I’m sorry. I’ll take care of it.”
“What does that mean?” I’m a little concerned he’s going to hurt Trish, and that’s a thought I can’t stomach.
“I’ll scare her, command her, whatever I have to do to make sure she doesn’t tell anybody.”
“Nope, can’t I have that,” I push away from Maddox and get out standing on the deck by the pool staring down at him. “Can’t have anyone knowing you got stuck with a weak little Omega mate now can we,” my anger is suddenly boiling inside of me. I hate that I just let him kiss me like that, and I hate myself more for responding to him. E
