Maybe it shouldn’t have made me so happy, maybe I was a hypocrite but hearing Lucy growl when her Alpha’s daughter was flirting with me actually made me happy. My thoughts were interrupted as Gina let out a low sigh. “I do apologize for that, it’s so embarrassing for our pack to think that she would act like that in front of our future King.”
“She’s been through an ordeal so I can understand the outburst,” I tell them with more annoyance in my voice than there should be.
“Yes, yes, of course,” Katherine interrupts her daughter who’s about to say something with a glare. “We’ve been invited to stay for dinner, I do hope we’ll have the honor of your company, and your future Queen as well.”
I’m not an i***t, she’s not the first Luna to try to throw her unmated daughter my way.
