I put one leg in front of the other. My steps were quite uncertain as I finally exited the cell. Somehow Canan had let me go. I was too stubborn to admit that I was terrified out of my mind internally. Eventually I found the strength to finally leave and when I bursted out of the dim lighted hallway unto the one that created that led to kane's office. I instantly released a breath of relief. At least I had made it without being spotted. Maybe whatever Canan had done back at the cell hasn't been broken yet.
I still couldn't wrap my head around any of it. How he was able to use his powers from within the cold walls of the cell. He was the opposite of what I perceived him to be. I wasn't certain that I could term him as a hardened criminal anymore. I don't know exactly what he was. A
