True fate

The sun shining through the fogged up window was the first thing to wake Elaina. She could feel her eyes slowly readjust as she looked at her small wristwatch lying on the bedside table. "Oh no, I'm going to be late for class," she hushed out in a panicked voice, as she saw it was already 7:30 am. This is the first time she had ever overslept, but she just had the strangest dream, perhaps that's why she didn't hear the alarm... Anyways no time for that. Elaina hurriedly threw on some black jeans and a hoodie that was way too big for her. She's worn oversized shirts as often as possible whenever she could since she realized her chest had grown, along with the stares from men. She didn't like the extra attention, and besides it made girls at school stare daggers at her whenever her forms were slightly visible. She pulled her fingers through her long amber red hair to untangle it as she didn't have time to properly brush it. "Elaina it's 7:40 already!" yelled a tired voice from downstairs; it was mom. Elaina picked up her wristwatch from the nightstand and ran downstairs, skipping the last two steps. "Thanks mom, love you" she said as she kissed her mom on the cheek, grabbed her bag and ran out the door.
