It wasn't only my eyes that was focused expectantly at Shulamite. The two ladies had their eyes locked on her as well, obviously curious as they also waited for her reply.
Does it mean that they don't know who I am to her?
What is her relationship with them anyway? Because this is the first time I'm actually seeing with friends.
"Umm... he is my boyfriend" She said smiling at them. "This this Theophilus. Theo, meet my friends" She said pointing at the two ladies. "This is Sharon White (Our mama) and this is Shanti Gold"
"Hi" They waved at me, while smiling. But I couldn't understand if the smile was pure or not, as I could see some hiding meaning behind their smile.
"H-hi" I nodded timidly, flashing them an awkward smile.
