Taking in the morning air; I realize for the first time in a long time, I'm smiling. 5:30 in the morning; I'm smiling, and excited about the day. The feeling is unfamiliar, strange, and foreign. I like it, I like waking up with a smile on my face. I take another deep breath; and giggle as I bounce through the door of my patio, to start my day.
I find myself wondering and thinking about him at the worst times. As the the steaming hot water runs down my body; i drift off into my mind yet again. I close my eyes, and I can feel him behind me; pressed firmly against me. Feeling his hands firmly grip my hips, and his lips trace my neck. Before I know it; I'm snapped back to reality, I've lost all my hot water. I jumped out the shower to get ready, knowing I spent too much time day dreaming. I hear my phone go off;
"Good morning Ocean Eyes."
"Top of the morning to you babygirl."
He was definitely unique. He always
Had something different to say.
"How may I help you?"
"Oh babygirl, I could think of a million ways; but today, I would love for you to join me in that coffee you promised me."
*Giggling*
"I never promised you. anything, but sure coffee sounds nice; I have this strange goofball who likes to keep me up at night."
*Dramatically gasping*
"I do no such thing, I just keep you company. Would you actually sleep if I didn't call you every night?"
I laugh knowing damn well I wouldn't. Why does he seem to know me so well?
"I'll see you in an hour Ocean Eyes."
I hang up knowing he could probably hear the smile on my face. I rummage through my clothes; hoping to find something cute to wear, knowing cute is not my style. I laugh as I throw on a T-shirt, and blue jeans; I was never really a woman who dressed up. I always had casual clothes. As I'm getting in my car, I hear my phone beep at me. I smile opening the message.
"How will I know where to go? You didn't tell me where we are meeting."
"You seem to know me so well, didn't think I had to tell you ."
Driving to the Diner I noticed; I have this light in my eyes, I haven't seen for years.
I walk into the diner; greeted by smiles and fimiliar faces, as always. I head to my normal table and stop dead in my tracks; Dustin and all his beautiful glory. He's already sitting at my table, with our coffees; how can just the sight of him take my breath away?
"Get lost coming to your favorite spot?"
"Not at all, I thought about bailing on you; don't want you thinking you got me wrapped around your finger already."
"Oh is that right?"
He gets this smile and look of arrogance on his face.
"Babygirl, you already are; it's written all over your face."
Somehow we have managed to make it outside on the patio of the diner. I laugh.
"Is that right?"
He gets this darkness in his eyes, as he smiles.
"Yes."
Wanting to see if I can push his buttons; I challenge him, not realizing how much confindence he really had.
"Prove it."
In one swift motion, I'm out of my chair and pinned against the diner wall. Pressed against me, his hand traces up my thigh, along my side; finally resting on my neck. My breath hitches; hes inches from my face, and he smells so damn good.
"You want me. I've seen it since you walked in the diner that faithful day. Every inch of your body quivers to have me. It beckons for my touch."
Licking my lips, a devilish smile comes across my face. In another swift motion, I put Dustin against the wall, hearing him moan; made my smile even wider. I press a little harder against him, feeling his excitement.
"Maybe your right Ocean Eyes, but you want me too. But it won't be that easy baby."
Inches from his face, our hot breath combining, I brush my lip against his.
"Your gunna have work for it darling."
I push against the wall and spin around walking away from him laughing. I hear him gasp, and head my way.
"Wait a damn minute thats unfair, you....you have some kind of powers or something.."
"Our date isn't over yet."
I look over my shoulder smiling;
"Oh, I know but our coffee is gone. Off to the next place we go Ocean Eyes."
