Ryker's POV
I watched as Rowena lay motionless on the floor. If it wasn't because of her steady pulse which of course I had checked, I would have thought she was dead.
The spot where I had placed the rod on her thigh had an angry red, the scar looking ugly but I wasn’t done with her yet.
I have never been this irrational but Rowena had pissed me off. Lying to me was one thing, but teasing me and daring me like she hadn’t lied to me, stringed me along. It inflamed the f*****g inferno in me.
