The Pack elders, captains, head warriors and myself all gathered in the great council hall. We were the most that mattered in the running of the Pack affairs. Everyone was seated awaiting the king, my dad, Lycan Eric. The air was filled with tension. Nobody spoke. You could almost hear the thoughts in the room. We were all thinking about the same thing. The attack.
The huge double doors at the far end creaked open, and my father, Lycan Eric, stepped in and his guards flanked him. His commanding aura made everyone stand up.
We all lowered our heads in respect, and greeted in unison, “Your highness…”
