I had been buried in work for days. I had been busy with the investigation of the rogues and trying to reveal the truth about Rose’s identity. I had barely slept at nights and my whole mind and body felt totally drained. There were always new reports and problems waiting for me every morning. The weight of being the next Alpha never seemed to leave my shoulders.
