"She said she'll do it," Axel announced from behind me, causing me to jump. I tucked my book neatly in my bag, watching as Axel slammed my locker shut. Good thing I got all of my books out of it before that, or else I'd be a bit annoyed.
"Okay, good," I responded. "When?"
"She's free tonight if you are," he explained and I looked at him. That is not enough time to mentally prepare. "In fact, I can drop you both off at the mall."
I continued to stare at him. Am I seriously doing this? Is he really worth it? "Okay," I responded as I swung my bag over my shoulder.
