Back to the party at Barrowbreg,
Noel smiled as he noticed a fine young lady approaching him, with her father by her side.
"Lord Noel, a pleasure seeing you at this party" the girl's father said, as he shook his hand.
"The pleasure is all mine, Lord....." he raised a brow and the man said with joy.
"Marlin"
"Ah, Lord Marlin. Who could this remarkable young lady be?" Noel asked, even though he knew she was his daughter.
"Oh, Lord Noel, this is my daughter, Lady Hattie" Lord Marlin said, as he urged his daughter to present her hand to the fine lord.
Lady Hattie blushed a little bit, before extending her hand to the young lord in front of her.
"My Lord" she greeted gently with a little curtsey. Noel took her hand and placed a gentle kiss on it, with his eyes fixed on hers.
"My Lady" he greeted back, not letting go of her hand. He played with it gently and flashed her a charming smile. The young lady blushed hard and flutter her thick lashes, looking away from him.
Her father noticed this, and left them to get acquainted. He had a proud look on his face, as she showed off to the other parents trying to get their daughters to have a chat with the fine lord.
"Hattie, is such a sweet name, my lady" Noel started up a conversation. Hattie cheeks flushed a little as she replied him
"T-thank you, my Lord" her heart raced as she couldn't get her eyes off him. She swallowed hard when she saw his pink tongue came out to wet him lips.
Noel took notice of this and bent a little to her level,
"Mind if I call you, Hattie, my lady?" he whispered. Lady Hattie's heart raced uncontrollably and she was unable to answer. Her mouth was left agape, with no words coming out of it. Her big blue eyes stared at him, lost in his beauty.
"Lord Noel?" they both heard someone call Noel, and she snapped. Embarrassed, Lady Hattie excused herself and ran off to her father.
"Must you ruin my fun?" Noel asked the interrupter, who was another young Lord, seeking favour from the next duke of Anthia
"Sorry to interrupt, my Lord" the guy apologized, bowing slightly.
"Well, it better be of a good course" Noel eyed, taking a glass of red wine from a servant passing by.
"Oh, believe me. It is" he answered with excitement and mischief.
"Well, let me hear it" Noel urged, as he eyed Lady Hattie from across the room.
"You left your sister in the hands of Lord Malachi, am I right?" the guy watched as Lord Noel's expression turned serious, when he heard his sister in the conversation.
"Go on" he said with all seriousness.
"Well, she's not with Lord Malachi as I speak. Matter of fact, I've searched the entire gathering and I couldn't find a trace of her" he smiled as he watched Noel's expression.
Noel quickly left the sight of the gossip, and went straight to were he spotted Lord Malachi, who was currently talking with someone.
"Where's my sister, Kai?" Noel asked dragging him off to a corner. Lord Malachi, who was reeking of alcohol, said, while trying to gain his balance.
"Why you asking me, I'm not your mother. Hehehe" he gave a notorious laugh at the end, that vexed the already vexed Noel. Holding him by his collar, Noel pulled him closer and said in the most threatening way possible
"Where the hell is my sister?" he clenched his teeth, not wanting to make a scene by shouting.
It was then Lord Malachi saw the seriousness on his face and said, while dozing off
"I don't know. She left me when I was speaking to someone"
Noel's eyes reddened in anger and he punched him right on the nose, causing him to tall on a table with different delicacies on it. The fall brought the attention of everyone, and they all stared at Noel, who they once adored, with disgust.
Noel didn't mind and went crazy, searching for Tabitha. The owner of the mansion soon joined him, with other men, in search of her. They searched and searched until finally, someone spotted her laying on the snowy grass, with blood all over her neck.
Noel's heart shattered into pieces and he ran to her. Lifting her he shouted,
"Is there a doctor here?" but nobody responded. His lips trembled and he yelled again
"Is there a freaking doctor here?!?" only then did a middle-aged man came and checked her.
"We need to get her inside" he said and they all gave way for Noel. He took her inside to a guestroom, provided by the owner of the mansion. Placing her beside the fireplace on a couch, he left the doctor check on her more.
"Mm, she'll be okay. She just need some rest" he informed and noel thanked him. The party soon retire and everyone left for their home, discussing what had just occured.
The owners of the mansion, pleaded for Noel to stay of which he did. He didn't leave his sister's side, and soon, he fell asleep.

At the Northern part of the kingdom stood an abandoned looking town, surrounded by fog. The town was quiet, with zero sign of life.
Thug thug
The sound of horse hooves echoed in the small town. Robert's eyes looked here and there, searching quietly. The horse stopped at a particular house, that looked more abandoned than the others. Mounting down from the horse, Robert stood in front of the house, with a wooden stick in his hand. He narrowed his eyes at the broken window and went there. Taking his free hand, he knocked on the window and it echoed in the house.
"Mmm" he hummed, with a smile. He left the window side and kicked opened the door. Almost immediately, a whoosh sound was heard from behind him. Using his vamp speed, he rushed to the where the sound came from and caught the person. The person was a man who wore rages for cloth. His eyes shined bright red and his fan grew, trying to struggled out of Robert's grip. Taking the stick in his other hand, he jabbed it in the left chest of the vampire and he asked
"Where is the witch, Bathsheba?" his tone was cool and calm, like someone who meant no harm.
"She hides in the Willow woods. She hides in the Willow woods" he quickly said and Robert took out the stick in his heart and released him. Just as he was about vamping off, Robert came from behind jab his hand into his back and brought out his heart. The vampire dropped dead on the floor.
Taking a handkerchief from his pocket, he cleaned his bloody hand and mounted on his horse, ridding off.
