THE BOY THE WORLD WORSHIPPED
The deafening roar of ecstatic fans could be aggressively felt. As the arena trembled beneath thousands of their pounding feet and roaring claps and cheers. Blue, purple, and crimson glow sticks swept across the darkness like waves beneath a midnight sky...as one name echoed from every corner of the stadium. The lights went out. Silence filled the arena as they held their breath....anticipating. One heartbeat. Behind the curtain, a lone silhouette stepped toward the microphone. Then- "ECHO!" "ECHO!" "ECHOOOOO!" The arena erupted once more.... louder than before... The chant rolled through every corner of the stadium, growing louder with every heartbeat. Tonight, they weren't waiting for just another performer. They were waiting for the boy the world worshipped. Somewhere behind the curtain , a guitar string was plucked. The stadium fell silent again. One spotlight pierced the darkness. A single guitar chord echoed through the stadium. The band members took their places one by one. The spotlight followed the silhouette. Echo gripped the microphone. He says only one sentence. "HI...EVERYONE" The crowd goes wild. A slow smile curved across his lips, as though the deafening cheers were music only he could understand. He closes his eyes. His fingers brushes the guitar strings again. The first note drifted through the stadium, soft enough to silence thousands of voices. His voice wasn't merely heard-it wrapped itself around every corner of the arena, rich eith emotion, carrying the weight of every lyric. The crowd swayed intensively, their glow sticks rising like stars answering the night sky. Some fans sang through tears, while others stood frozen, afraid that even breathing might break the moment. For three minutes, the world belonged to his music Every note he sang felt perfectly tuned, as though his heart beat in rhythm with every guitar string. On stage, music wasn't just something he performed-it was the only he truly belonged. As Echo reached the chorus, his eyes swept across the sea of thousands of fans. Then they stopped. One girl wasn't singing She wasn't even smiling. she simply watched him. Somehow ...he forgot the next lyric. The band immediately covered for him. The fans didn't notice the change, they were all too absorbed in the performance. He looked at the girl again. She didn't scream his name. She didn't raise a glow stick. Her arms were folded as she watched him with unreadable eyes, untouched by the excitement surrounding her. "Why isn't she singing?” Echo mumbled to himself. "Zira! Where are you going? The concert isn't over!" "I've seen enough." Zira said as she turned to leave. Echo watched Zira disappear into the crowd until she was swallowed by a sea of people. For the first time in years, someone had walked away from him-and he couldn't understand why. The applause still thundered around him, but Echo barely heard it. His eyes searched the sea of faces, hoping to catch one last glimpse of the girl who had left without turning back. He had performed before millions, yet only one person had managed to unsettle him. Echo remained frozen beneath the spotlight long after the music resumed. The cheers of thousands still echoed around him, yet all he could think about was the girl who had left without looking back. For the first time, the applause felt strangely hollow. Backstage, assistants rushed around him with congratulations, but Echo remained distracted. One question echoed louder than the cheers outside. "Who is she?"
