Chapter 26. Moonlight glow

I went down to the dining room to see Andel and Matt is already there seated with Luna Stella. I greeted them before sitting.

“ I see Prince Charming got you dressing up.” Matt chuckled

“ who’s Prince Charming?.” Andel asked and Matt immediately replied.

“ oh she didn’t tell you..oh sh*t. My bad princess.” Both him and Luna Stella laughs and I shot him a glare.

“ my bad, I’m sorry. I didn’t meant to.” He spoke in a low voice, bowing playfully his hand going to his chest with a sly smile.

“Who’s Prince Charming yolan?.” Andel asked again curiously but I didn’t get to answer as Gael strode into the dining room.

wearing a black v neck t-shirt that clings to his muscles and a cotton blue sweat pants. His hair is curled up from being a little bit wet and dripping.

A whistle brought me back to reality followed by Matt’s voice.

“ see?. She can’t even take her eyes off him, Hahahaha.” He laughed. I blushed as Gael took the other seat next to me, looking down playing with my fingers.

“ Matt.. leave them alone.” Luna Stella said before going outside to take a phone call.

“ but it’s true. Besides I think they’d make a good couple. Power couple.” He grinned folding his hands under his chest.

I looked at Andel to see he’s looking at me with a blank stare before turning back to his phone.

Soon enough evon came in with auri hand in hand. Sitting across us, auri had a triumphant smirk on her face like she had won some golden prize.

Luna Stella returned to the dining room informing us that the alpha wouldn’t join us for dinner because something had came up.

As we were being served Gael leaned over and whispered.

“ after dinner Can I take you somewhere? It will be quick.” My face heating up from his breath on my ear. I nodded and turn to look at him

“Sure”

turns out while everyone else were busy eating, evon was burning holes into Gael and i with his glare.

I put a little space between us then started to eat my dinner, occasionally answering Gael whenever he asked or tell me something.

I went out to the jeep waiting on Gael when Andel came out.

“ why are you out here?.”

“ I’m waiting on Gael he’s going to take me to see something. We won’t be long.”

“ oh.. so can I come then.” He asked quickly walking towards me.

“ sure, c**k blocker” Gael answer as he closed the door, dangling the keys as he walks.

“ I’m joking relax.” He laughed before he told Andel to get in.

We drove for about two minutes before he park the jeep in a parking lot of a*****e and led us to the back and through a narrow bushy pathway.

“ you’re not taking us to k**l us right.” I asked. I wasn’t scared or anything because I’m used to this in Saint Vincent.

“I wouldn’t even dream of it.” He laughed

We walked for about five minutes before we met a stream.

“ a stream?. Really dude I thought it was some..”

“We have to wait I don’t control nature. You guys would love it.” He smiled. He sat down on a log with his elbows on his knees.

We’re now here for about ten minutes now and nothing has happened and Gael refused to tell us what would happen. He wants us to see for ourselves.

“ is this a joke.” Andel scoffed, glaring at him.

“ can’t you see there’s a lot of clouds in the sky. I looked at the weather forecast it wasn’t supposed to be like this.” Gael defended himself.

“ well you know the weather change sometimes.. it’s not always accurate. Maybe we can come see it tomorrow when the sky is clear.” I suggested

“ no. this doesn’t happen every day it’s only on a full moon and you obviously won’t be here for the next one.” He stated as he got up off the log.

As we were speaking I heard Andel shrieks.

“ what the he*l is that. The water..it’s glowing.” Jumping behind me he held onto my shoulder while Gael burst out into a laughing fit.

“ What!.” I turned to look at the water and it was indeed glowing.

“ the river. It’s glowing. Dude this is cool.” Gael laughed and rolled his eyes as Andel released My shoulder and went to the river bank and scooped some water in his hand.

“ how is it not glowing in my hand” he murmured. Gael laughed at him.

“ i don’t know, I found it when I broke it off with my ex and walked here.”

“ you walked here?..” I asked with a hint of amusement.

“ yea. I was angry. not because she cheated but because she lied. So I walked and ended up here. I think I Might have done something stupid if I had stayed there listening to her try to explain she didn’t cheat when I already knew she obviously did.”

“ when I sat here that day..I was hurt. I wanted to cry but then I saw this.. it just started glowing and I thought I was crazy.

then I thought, so what if she cheated, she’s not for me anyways. we as wolves some would wait for their mate and some choose to date before finding their mates but it all has to end once you do..unless that person is your mate.” He said looking at me with a gentle smile and I nodded looking back at the river. He continued.

“ I came back here the night after that but it didn’t happen. For maybe a couple weeks I kept coming back it never did until the night of the full moon I had the instinct to come here and I saw it.”

It looks so unnatural but beautiful. Wherever the water crash created a bright glow and can clearly be seen because it was dark.

“ can’t we go in.” Andel asked getting up.

“Yea. But not here. Come With me.”

Gael walked us along the bank of the stream pulling branches out of the way from time to time telling us to be careful. Soon we came to the end of the stream with a waterfall. The stream continues below and there’s no trees blocking the moonlight from the swimming hole that was most likely created by the waterfall.

Gael stripped his clothes throwing them on a big flat rock. The light from the moon make his features softened when he grinned and ran off the top of the waterfall.

“ woohoo, canon ball.” He said, before there’s a big splash sound below us. I went to the edge to see he’s just coming up from under the water.

I didn’t waste any time, excitement eating me up as i ran back pulling my dress off kicking my slipper off throwing them onto the rock.

“ are you going in like that?. Put your dress back on.” Andel said grabbing the dress and throwing it to me.

I took it throwing it back on the stone.

“ it’s night time. Come on.” I laughed and he grunted as I ran to jump off.

“ what’s taking you g..”

“ woohoo.” I mimic Gael. I fell into the water with a big splash. Well not as big as Gael’s. As I resurfaced I felt a pair of hand slid around my waist pulling me towards a warm body.

“ Gael” I squealed and giggled as he lick and kissed my neck holding me tight. Subconsciously I threw my hands around his neck, tilting my head a little to give him access. Right in this moment it felt so right but also wrong.

“ I wish we were here alone.” He whispered, resting his head in the crook of my neck.

“ heyyy. Why did you say that?.” I asked pushing him back a little to look at him.

“ no, I don’t mean it like that, I meant..”

SPLASH!!

Andel jumped in, splashing water on us causing us to turn our head away.

“ that” he said with a smile and I giggled.

“ ouu sh*t. why didn’t you guys tell me the water is cold?.” Andel said as he resurfaced shivering as he got out of the water.

“ Delly, it’s not that cold. Maybe if you stayed a little longer you’ll get used to it.”

“ it’s not that cold if you keep your body under the water.”

“ n-no I’m g-good. And it’s easy f-for you guys to say that..when you have each other to keep yourself warm.” Gael and I laughed at how he stuttered. His laugh is so sexy. The things that I imagine myself doing to him, with him.

“Okay let’s go before he catches a cold.” Gael said pulling away from me and swimming back to the river bank.

“Ughh, we just got in.” I hit my hands on the water splashing it.

“ yea but we can’t just let your brother sit on a stone shivering.”he pointed to Andel.

“ he’s hugging his feet to keep himself warm.”

“ Yolanda he could di..”

“ alright, alright. Let’s go.” I exclaimed
