Chapter 27. jealousy

We are now driving back to the pack house in silence before Andel broke it. He leaned forward resting his elbows on the seats.

“ sooo.. you guys a thing?” Gael look over at me before saying

“We’re dating.” I felt butterflies in my stomach. A blush crept up on my face as I smiled feeling all giddy that this handsome guy just admitted to dating me. Is this real?.

“.. .You better not hurt her man. she’s my only sister and my only sibling. Yolan I know you don’t have any experience with dating but try your best not to hurt him as well.” I turned an glared at him.

“What?.. you’re my sister and he’s my friend so I won’t have you hurting him just because.” He knitted his brows together sitting back in his seat.

“ thanks bro.” Gael smiled.

“ you wanna know something crazy?. I have two friends that I was close with, one of them being my cousin, the future alpha. Not to say he’s jealous or anything but I think he always sees me as a competition. He never voiced it out but sometimes it shows in his actions. The other friend.. he’s the reason I broke up with my ex.” He exhaled heavily before continuing.

“ what I’m trying to say is.. i know we’ve only known each other for only two weeks or so but I’ve really never felt what it’s like to have, a real friend. Thanks for having my back bro.” He grinned, balling his hand to a fist towards Andel in the backseat and they fist bumped.

“ you’re welcome. And I meant it yolan. I will call you out on your bullsh*t if I see it. Both of you.”

“ what?.. so you suddenly became a relationship officer now.” I asked in a mocking tone, raising an eyebrow at him. He laughs.

“I’m not scared of you, you know.” He stated still laughing.

The rest of the ride home was silent. Good silent. It was already ten in the night so we were quiet when we entered the house. Gael walked with me to my room even though Andel’s room is across from mine. He said that his company and Andel’s are different.

“say your goodbye and let’s go.” Andel said as soon as he got by his door with his hands on his hip.

“Go where?.” I questioned him.

“ you go to your room I go to my room you know.” He spoke softly pointing in the directions.

“ dude you already accepted us dating man.” Gael chuckled a bit.

“ yes, I accepted it, but it doesn’t mean to..you know” he point up and down at us.

“Oh Waw. Ohh Yolanda let me take you right here in front your bedroom door.” Gael mumbled.

“Andel just go to your room.”

“ alright. a kiss on the back of the hand then go to your room. Nothing more.”

“We’ve kissed on th-“

“ alright alright, blah blah blah.” He whisper yelled glaring at me “I’ll go. I don’t want to hear your business.” He muttered after taking a deep breath then enter his room.

Gael pulled me in for a little kiss before saying that he’ll see me tomorrow. I went to take another shower washed and blow dry my hair. Coming out of the bathroom in a knee length robe I went to my drawer to get my light blue pajama set. It’s a button up silk shirt with a short pants.

I was already taking off my robe when there was light knock on the door like it didn’t want to be heard. I wrap it so that it was still covering me but didn’t tie it back. I went to the door to see who it was.

“ who is it?.” I whispered.

“ it’s me, open the door I want to talk to you.” I tied the robe before opening the door slightly.

“ evon it’s late. what is it you want to talk about that can’t wait.”

“ I can’t talk to you here I don’t want anyone hearing. Let’s go inside just in case.”

I thought about it for a while before moving aside to let him in.

I wanted to change into my Clothes but it was too revealing and at the same time I have nothing but my robe on. I decided I’ll put my clothes on and put my robe over it.

“ what is it you want to talk about?.” I asked coming back from the bathroom.

“ I saw you guys left after dinner.”

“ okay..soo what’s the problem.”

“ is that why you don’t want anyone to know about us being mates.”

“ no it’s not. I’ve told you already evon why is it so hard for you to grasp.”

“Because you’re going out with my cousin openly.”

“ and so. You’re the one sucking on another females face deliberately to hurt me and displaying affection PUBLICLY.. ohh let’s not forget how everyone knows she would be your chosen mate. but I’m the bad one. You expect me to run and rejoice that you’re my mate while you’re with another?..what do I look like?.”

“This arrangement was made for the betterment of the pack this wasn’t my choice-“

“ exactly. YOUR choice.. not theirs. but you’re still choosing to be with her.”

“ well what do you expect me to do Yolanda, I don’t want to disappoint my father.”he caressed my cheeks. the sparks that burst from where he touches feels so good that I closed my eyes leaning into his hand.

I gasped a little as I felt his other hand went around my waist while his hand that was on my cheek went to the back of my head then his lips softly pecked mine. It felt even better than his hand on my cheek and I wanted more. He kisses me nibbling on my bottom lip and With my eyes still closed I snaked my arms around his neck and kissed him back. He groaned as he deepened the kiss lifting me, my legs automatically wrapping around his waist. The sparks, the heat, the intensity, all from skin to skin contact. As my back hit the bed he grind his front to mine trailing kisses along my neck.

He loose my robe and groaned as he saw I had another layer of clothes. He start to unbutton my shirt and I stopped him. He took my hands pinning them above my head with one of his then use his free hand to start unbuttoning the others.

“ evon, don’t do this. Please. I’m not ready for this.” I begged him. I could easily overpower him but that would risk him knowing what I can do and even find out who I really am. My shirt is now open and I’m bare to him.

“ why?.” He asked as he pulled my pants off from under my bottom so that it’s still on but I’m exposed for him to do whatever he wants.

“ just don’t, please.” My eyes burned with hot tears from holding back as he kissed my neck. I want to hurt him but at the same time I can’t bring myself to do it.

“But you want it.. right?.” He paused as he said then proceeded to pull his sweat pants just enough to free his manhood. The tears I had been holding in finally slipped from my eyes.

“ shhh, it’ll only hurt for a few seconds, I promise.” The nerves he got. I looked him in his eyes and told him.

“stop it. Right now, evon.” He froze in his spot before getting off me and I quickly covered myself up.

“ I’m sorry. I’m really sorry, Yolanda. I don’t know what came over me. I think it’s the mate bond.”

“Whatever. Just control yourself when you’re around me.” I said without looking at him.

“So about Gael..I don’t want you going out with him anymore. Just wait for me okay.”

“ you still have the nerve to ask me not to see him and wait for you while you choose to be with someone else.” I scoffed

“He’s my cousin Yolanda.” I suddenly remembered what Gael had told us in the jeep while we were coming back so I decided to test him on it.

“Oh.. so anyone but Gael right?.” I raised my eyebrows at him.

“Yes. I mean no. Look just wait-“he shook his head with his brows scrunched up.

“ I’m not waiting for you evon. I will continue to date Gael you made your choice and I’ve made mine, now get out.” I pointed to the door. He really sees gael as a competition.

“Just as long as you don’t give him what belongs to me.” He said in a matter of fact tone.

“ I don’t belong to anyone and I’ll give him whatever I want. Now out.” Rage burned inside of me as I pushed him to go out.

“ you know, auri gave herself to me not long after her last birthday.” He turned to me.The more he speaks is the more he appears to be ugly to me.

“So what?. I don’t care.” I put a hand on my hip shooing him with the other.

“ I’m an alpha and I’ll get whatever I want Yolanda.”

“ so is Gael.” I decide to test him again.

“ he’s not.” Jealousy swimming in his eyes as he spoke to me. And it’s funny to me because Gael is so nice and this is who he get for family.

“ he is.” I deadpan.

“ he’s a beta.” He gritted.

“ last time I checked, YOU said he has alpha blood running through him. And he shows to be more of an alpha than you are.”

His face twisted with anger as he look down at me before storming off.
