He brought us to the Caribbean, I’m going to live on an island. I couldn’t stop myself from throwing into his arms for a hug.
After getting off the plane and came through security check and all that we got a taxi, now heading to a hotel.
This place is beautiful I thought looking out the window. I can’t wait to explore and learn more about this place.
“ I take it that you like it.” Wyatt said with a little smile and what it looks like a hopeful look.
“ I love it. A little island that no one really knows about.” I smiled and his face lit up with relief. “well, it’s known but who would ever thought that we’d be here.” He said before adding “ we’re the only ones of our kind here” he leaned in pecking my cheeks.
“ don’t forget our children, when we do have.” As I said that he look’s taken aback before he pulled me into a passionate kiss.
“ ahem. We’re here.” The taxi driver pulls us from our little moment.
“How much?.”
“One hundred and sixty” we paid the amount and stepped out to the sign in-front of the building ‘ marina’s hotel. The French veranda’ we walked to the receptionist to get checked in I guess Wyatt made reservations before we got here because we didn’t stay there too long.
We got to our room to settled down but I couldn’t help going out on the porch to see the beautiful view. Wyatt never told me a beach was at the mouth of this place, and oh my god another little island i definitely want to go there.
“ taking in the beauty by yourself, that’s selfish my love.” We both chuckle
“ I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself.”I turned to put my hands around I’m his neck combing his hair with my fingers while he slid his hands around my waist.
“I can’t wait to make memories here with you”
“ we’re already doing just that.” He grinned.

In one year and seven months, we had gotten to know this sweet little island roaming around freely like we’ve been here all our lives. We’d built our own house instead of buying one to our liking in a village called Calder ridge.
We went to the other grenadines islands and every one of them are great in their own way. The people are helpful and very kind, though they speak creole it didn’t take us too long to start understanding it and so we made a couple of friends.
We went to the botanical gardens, the la soufrière volcano, dark view falls and many other places. We even let our wolves out while walking the Vermont nature trail. We wanted to see every part of this place and we did. even though Wyatt had gotten a job at a bank as loan officer in town we still try to make time on the weekends to hang out.
************
One year later
“Mr Anderson hold her hand and try to keep her relaxed. mrs Anderson, we’re gonna need you to push when you feel a contraction okay” the midwife said as she sanitize her hand and put her glove on.
I nodded my head, not to answer her but in attempt to not think about the pain. “You’re doing so great baby”
“ ahhhhh” I screamed as a contraction hit me once again.
“ shhh, I know it hurts” Wyatt tried to calm me pushing my hair from my face.
“ do you?” I glared at him and he smiled apologetically rubbing my hand. Three other doctors came in laughing at our exchange.
“ Uhh, let’s try an alba to xo and xo to Jane shall we” he smile as I look at him confused.
Before he began to speak another contraction hits. “ OHH MY GOD.. I can’t do this”
“ five more minutes of pain, for a lifetime of happiness.” I smiled, feeling fluttering in my stomach. He remembered that after so long. “So start pushing.. before I yank those kids out myself.” We both laughed while the doctors looked at us in awe.
At 10:01 am I met my baby girl and 10:10 am my baby boy. “you are a true fighter Lenora” Wyatt said kissing the side of my head while I cradle our little boy and him our girl.
“ how are you feeling mrs Anderson.” The doctor asked
“ exhausted.. my throat hurts too.” She nodded.
“ yea, that is to be expected, also when the anaesthetics wears off, your area will hurt obviously you just pushed out two six pounds babies.” We laughed before she continued. “Are you still feeling any cramps?”
“ yea, just a little bit, but I can handle it” I smiled and she looks surprised.
“You really are a fighter. Just let me know if it becomes unbearable so that I can get some pain killer medicine for you.”
I nodded. “ okay,thank you.”
Wyatt took our son after he put our daughter down as she is asleep.
“ look, already in daddy mode” the doctor chuckled.
“ of course, I’m just gonna let her get some rest she worked hard.”
“ awwwe look at him he’s so cute, he has your hair colour. I thought your hair was dyed.”
I laughed “ yea she got it too, I get that a lot.”
The doctor went out after a little chat so i quickly pumped some breast milk for the babies and place them in an insulated lunch bag I’d bought online because it looked pretty. Wyatt thought it was useless but here it is now being useful.
Our mom’s were supposed to be here for the birth of the children but they had other plans, they came one week early. I guess they start pranks on their grandma’s already. Though I’m happy my children are here healthy, I’m a bit sad because I wanted my mom to experience this with me. The thought of Wyatt being here with me throughout our pregnancy, supporting me physically, mentally and emotionally puts a smile on my face.
We’d been at the hospital for a total of four days. After a series of check up and making sure the children were cleared to go we were discharged.
Reaching home, I wanted to help take the kids out but Wyatt told me to go inside.
As I opened the door I was startled.
“ CONGRATULATIONS!!” I was frozen in shock at the door when Wyatt’s mom my mom and miss Aggie came to hugged me out of my state of shock.
Tony and miss Aggie went to hug Wyatt and were already head over heals about the kids.
“ congratulations again my sonny boy.” miss Aggie beams after pulling away from the hug.
“ bro, he looks just like you with Lenora’s hair. You really did that.”
“Well, all I did was held her hand and tried to calm her down. She did all the work, I picked up the slack when they came out though.”
We all laughed and went to the kids room to show them around and let them have the kids because they’re not staying long, not that they don’t want to but they can’t.
Though we’d bought formula I had to pump more milk because my boobs were getting full again.
While I did that Wyatt went to cook but miss Aggie insisted she would do it and that he should get some rest. our mom’s didn’t leave the kids room unless they really have to take a bathroom break.
Wyatt and I went to take our nap as we were instructed to do. Our nap turned into hours of sleep that were well needed.
