FIVE MONTHS LATER

I was laying on the sofa watching my show. it’s hard to keep up now that I’m out most days working.

Wyatt and I had came to the decision that I work three days a week while he work four that way at least one of us is at home resting and not too tired also my mom is almost never home.

The first day that ‘ we’ had to go after I insisted that we both work together, he left early the morning so I didn’t get to go. I tried to be mad at him when he got back but he just kept laughing at me saying who in the world be mad that they don’t have to work. I couldn’t resist laughing because the way he laughs will make you laugh.

I heard a vehicle screech to a halt then doors slamming. Wyatt and my mom burst through the front door.

“ we have to go” I look at him wanting an explanation.

“NOW, LENORA!!.” he yelled dragging an already packed suitcase, his duffel bag and what it appears to be the bag we keep our important documents in.

“ what’s going on.” I asked no one in particular. Looking at my mom she has tears in her eyes.

“ mom, say something.”

“ oh, my baby. Wyatt will let you know on the way there’s no time to explain but for now you have to hurry.” I ran into my bedroom and changed into a denim blue jeans pants black t- shirt and white converse shoe. I came out the bedroom all the while pulling my hair into a ponytail when Wyatt threw me a black hat and so I slipped it on.

Wyatt took the luggage to the vehicle and stayed outside to take a call.

“ here don’t forget this. I never thought a day like this would come.” My mom cried all still smiling and I started crying as well. “ I love you, my Nora” just her saying that made me cry even harder.

“I love you too mom” i hugged her not wanting to let go. Wyatt came in.

“ momz, thank you for everything. I don’t know what I would’ve done with out you and I can’t thank you enough. I will take care of Lenora and we will check in from time to time.” He told her as I broke the hug wiping my face and taking the leather covered book.

“ I know you would but you also have to take care of yourself okay, you have to promise me that because if you’re not well you won’t be able to take care of Lenora, and Lenora you also have to take care of Wyatt okay.” I nodded.

“ I promise” he smiled tilting his head to the side and promised with his hand on his chest before giving her a hug.

“ okay okay enough of that you guys need to get going” mom broke the hug pushing us out of the house.

“ my mom is bringing something for me she said she’d be here in five minutes” as soon as he said that we heard a vehicle pull up outside. We went out and it was indeed his mom.

“ mom you said five minutes it’s only been like two minutes”

“Are you crazy. My son has to flee the country and I’m gonna take my time coming to you” Luna Jacqueline scoffed while handing him a brown envelope.

“ did dad see when you left?.” Wyatt asked putting the envelope in his duffel bag

“ no, he went out to meet with some other alpha’s” Wyatt nodded in response. “ I’m gonna miss you mom” he said as tears fell from his eyes. This is the first time I’m seeing him cry so easily.

“ ohh Wyatt. My baby. My sweet baby boy.” She pulled him in for a hug smoothing down his hair.

“I’m gonna miss you too. I love you so much, you hear me.” She held his face with both of her hands for him to hold eye contact.

“ never forget that. You’ll always be my sweet boy. And if you meet trouble don’t hesitate to call me okay” she looks to me reaching out with one hand to hold mine “ I mean any trouble, at all” i nodded.

“ alright, we have to go mom. we have to check in and we only have two and a half hours, the airport is thirty five minute drive.”

“ you can make it in twenty” Luna said in a matter of fact. We all laugh and give one last hug which was like five or six time back and forth and saying ‘I love you’ and how much we’d miss them and we’d keep in touch.

We’re now on our way to the airport and now have twenty five minutes to get there before time.

“ so why are we leaving” I asked him.

“ some alpha’s heard about the information the seer revealed to the lycan alpha of red moon pack so they came together and agreed to search for the said wolf, you. They’re already on the move that’s why we can’t stay there.” Panic takes over my body and then he said.

“ don’t worry they don’t know what you look like at least not yet. All they know is that your mom and dad was thrown out of their pack.”

“ exactly and now they want me, how selfish.” I scoffed folding my hands under my breast looking out the window.

“ don’t worry, babe.” he reached over rubbing my leg with his thumb.”

“ they would never find us where we’re going.”

We got to the airport did our check in and now sitting on the plane getting ready for take off.

The plane took off, it was now six thirty in the evening we would be flying for three hours and ten minutes. We’re leaving Toronto heading to Miami. Once we were told we can relax I put my sleep mask and went to sleep.

Wyatt woke me up telling me we landed. Once we were cleared we got a taxi to the nearest hotel. We got to the hotel almost eleven o, clock. we ordered food, took a shower and picked out our outfits for the next day which is in four or five hours because our next flight is leaving at six thirty.

Boarding the plane Wyatt had put headphone on me told me to listen to some music to calm my nerves and still would not tell me where we are going. All he said is that it’s safe and no one would find us there. This flight is four hours and five minutes, great I get to sleep again.

About fifteen minutes into the flight I tried asking Wyatt where we were going again but he still doesn’t want to tell me. I don’t know when I dosed off but I did, waking up I see we’re still in the air.

“ we’re almost there” he said smiling. I can feel butterflies in my stomach at our new start. “ are we staying in a hotel again?.” I asked

“ well, yes. But only for a week or so until we know our way around then we can buy a house.” I nodded

“ how much longer until we’re there?.”

“Mmm.. say ten minutes or so”

I looked out the window already seeing land, I smiled feeling the excitement. I couldn’t help but think this is where we’d raise our children when we do have.

I was pulled from my thoughts after hearing to prepare our selves for landing.

After landing, was when I heard where we came.

“ ladies and gentlemen American Airlines welcome you to Saint Vincent and the grenadines. For your safety and the safety of those around you, please remain seated..”

I look to Wyatt as the flight attendant voice faded away from my hearing.
