Ethan was pacing up and down in the garden in the gazebo next to the swan-pond. He was fuming inside. It had taken him most of the afternoon to calm Tiana down enough so that she would stop shouting. Quite a number of things had upset her, not the least that he, as her husband, had not informed her of the meeting and nothing he had said had appeased her. This had meant that he had missed the rest of the meeting. As a non-essential member, the meeting could continue without him, but as the next leader, this left him furious.
