Chapter 26

1172 Words

Ethan was staring broodily out his bedroom window, leaning against the wall next to it, with hair still tousled and hands shoved into his pants pockets. The knock on the door didn’t come as a surprise, he should have expected it, he knew what the twin-telepathy was like, but still, if it made him angrier, if that was even remotely possible. Turning, he watched Marcus step into his bedroom before turning his moody temperament back to the window. “I’m not in the mood for company, Marcus.” “Ya, I kind of guessed that.” “Then why did you come?” “Because you’re my friend; she’s my sister. Let’s say, it’s the right thing to do.” Ethan grunted in response. He should have known that Marcus wouldn’t be pushed out that easily. Still, he was in no mood to talk so he just stared out the window.
