Cain looked around them in disbelief. They were in an open area, and although no other scents were about, he still felt conscious about shifting in such an open space.
"You want to shift here?" He asked. Nik shook his head and pointed it over to a thick of trees. Cain nodded and they both paced over to the area. It was surrounded by bushes, so at least they could keep some modesty.
"Are you ready?" Nik asked as he tried to keep his nerves from showing. He could still feel his paws sweating.
"I mean, I guess seeing you naked straight away breaks the ice." Cain replied. Nik yipped out a laugh as his heart swelled.
The wolves stood opposite one another, padding their feet into the ground as they steadied themselves for the shift. They looked at one another, nodded and closed their eyes. N
