Orion very quietly approaches the guard and from behind knocks him out without making a single noise. We grab the keys and slip through the door quietly taking the body of guard to not alert anyone passing by. As we enter my stomach revolves itself, the odor here is awful, it is a mix of blood, sweat and dregs. Orion is half carrying me since I’m still an injured person along with the guard as if we both weigh nothing.

“Lina” I whisper, she moves a little but doesn't look like she’s conscious, I put a blanket over her gently and try saying her name a little more loudly trying not to scare her. She blinks then stares at me with pure hate.

“What are you doing here?” she narrows her eyes, I shiver a little seeing all her hate directed at me.

“Lina don’t start a war with me, I have not come to rejoice nor take vengeance. I was unconscious at the hospital.. I literally just woke up. I am here because I don’t agree with what is being done to you and I want to rectify this and hear your part of the story”

Her eyes were distrusting “What a perfect little luna, is having one alpha not enough? Do you need two? I will not tell you a thing, leave me be. You have already taken my mate from me. I don´t need your help nor your pitty, Jack’s birthday is just in a few days and then yours so he’ll know for sure he is mine and he will rectify this and banned you for good from this pack for confusing him” Her eyes were dark full of hate towards me and her voice was raspy. “I do care for you Lina as I do for all the wellbeing of every pack member, this is not right. I will rectify this situation even if you don't want me to” I stood straight, turned to Orion, held out my hand and he immediately understood me and held me as we got out.

We went back in silence, as he lay me again on the bed and continued to hold my hand.

“You are an amazing person, you choose justice and peace over your own feelings. I am amazed.” He got closer to me, I could feel his breath sending tickles all over my body, not taking his eyes off of me said: “If you had asked me to rip out her throat I would have done it. To hell with the consequences, that's who I am. But you are pure light to my darkness” my cheeks burned bright at his declaration, his fingers lightly brushed my cheeks as if I was made of glass I held my breath and felt him getting closer. He lovingly laid a kiss on my cheek and my heart was about to explode with such an innocent gesture my body was filled with lust and I wanted him closer more than anything, to hell with the consequences as he said and I reach my hand and run it across his hair, ready to pulled him closer but before I could the door opens up.
