The following day was a busy one for the Northwood family. The building for the Hybrid females was under construction, and everyone was busy dealing with the details. The building needed to be completed before the Hybrids arrived.
That meant that Dylan and Lydia were very busy, and Karla was left alone with Blue.
She took Blue for breakfast and was pleased that her mother was not there; she was probably with Jade’s mate in her room. Karla could still not believe that she had spent all that time preparing a room for Jade’s mate. Of course, the poor girl had nothing to do with the way Jade had behaved towards her - Karla could not blame her.
