Felix
Okay, thank you.
Marigold's POV:
I know something bad is going to happen tonight. I just wish I can know what it is. We go to the Core tree.
"Core!" My breath turns to frost.
Core appears. "Yes?"
"What is going on?" I asks
"And how are we supposed to trust you when you don't trust us?" Lysander asks
"What makes you think that?" Core questions.
"We've shown you who we truly are since day one. It's been two months and we still haven't seen your true form." Talicia points out.
"It's not that I don't trust you, I'm just so used to having the gray figure as an appearance." Core tells us.
We all look at each other, nod, and look back at Core with understanding eyes.
Core shows them her true form. She has fox ears and a tail, long hair that is put into a low ponytail, her left eye is covered by a rose and her right is all white, and there are vines on her body. Everything about her lacks color.
"Now I'm really mad you waited this long to show us. You are so beautiful." Savvina tells Core while admiring her features.
"Oh, thank you." Core responds with a bashful look on her face.
The wind starts to pick up.
"Ugh, it's cold!" Mona exclaims
"In any conditions? Even if we are in a desert?" I asks
"Yes. All you have to do is have it in a pot with dirt and I'll do the rest." Core replies
The next thing we know, we are transported to a desert like I see in my vision and Core is nowhere to be seen.
Angel's P.O.V.
It is unexpected to most of us. Felix is freaking out and Funxy is checking her pockets making sure she has her emergency equipment. All the while, Oliver is making sure he has Felix's vitamins on him. The sun is blazing hot and there is no way we are going to survive without shelter. Luckily, Gloria has a plan.
"Angel, it's time to combine our powers." She tells me.
"Same with us, Ethan." Marigold tells him.
Gloria and I combine our powers to create a desert house while Ethan and Marigold create some more plants for us to survive off of.
Funxy pulls a flower pot out of her pocket while Oliver drags Felix into the house. Marigold buries a seed in the pot and takes it from Funxy's hands. We ditch our snow jackets and take off a few layers before entering the house.
Funxy starts to build big misting fans.
"Girls, make groups of two. Guys, make groups of two and one group of three." Gloria instructs us.
"I got Felix and Ethan." Oliver says.
"I got Gloria." I say.
Everyone else buddies up too. Gloria uses magic to create enchanted handcuffs and place them around the partners' wrist.
"Now no one is going to get lost and be alone." Gloria announces.
Mona's P.O.V.
Gloria has an interesting idea. I am handcuffed to Talicia, which is fine since we get along anyways. Ethan starts hugging up to Oliver and he gives him a look of confusion. Something is wrong with that kid.
Anyways, we all go to pick our rooms. Some of us go upstairs while others stay downstairs.
"I got stuck in the middle." Felix comments.
"I think it's for the best." Oliver responds while patting Felix on the head.
Dustan's P.O.V.
In my opinion, it is funny watching Oliver have to force Ethan off of him.
"Hey Dustan, wanna go upstairs or stay downstairs?" Heiko asks me.
"Downstairs, I want to see what happens." I respond
We watch the situation play out. Ethan hugs onto Felix this time. Oliver just crosses his arms and shakes his head.
"I don't know how I feel about this." Felix comments uncomfortably.
"Okay, now we can go upstairs." I tell Heiko
"Those three are so weird." Heiko comments while we are walking upstairs.
"I got used to it over the years. Now it's just funny to me."
Savvina's P.O.V.
Thank goodness Funxy has spare parts in her weird pockets! She makes these HUGE misting fans that we are putting in our rooms.
Speaking of which, in my room the girls are braiding each others' hair. When you are in a situation like this, you aren't really able to style your hair.
Zoe and Jasmine walk up to Funxy.
"Hey, can we braid your hair?" Jasmine asks.
"No." Funxy replies
"Please?"
"Nope."
"How about we help you make chocolate for Felix?" Zoe proposes.
Funxy pauses then blushes.
"Fine." She replies letting her hair down.
Jasmine and Zoe both cheer.
"I don't know, Dad said Felix shouldn't have sugar." Charlotte comments.
"Well Ethan always wondered why." Jasmine mentions.
"Don't make me slap him." Talicia threatens. "Don't do that."
"Slap who?" Funxy asks.
"You know who. Everybody learns from the first time we have sneaked him candy." Talicia replies
"She's not wrong." Mona agrees.
"True, but he probably wants to know why Felix has such a reaction." Zoe suggests.
"No!" They shout
Gilda's P.O.V.
I can't find my daughter. I put out missing child posters everywhere and no one has found any hints on where my child could be. My phone is ringing and I need to answer it.
"Hello." I answer.
"Hey Gigi, have you seen the kids?" A female voice asks over the phone. "I saw them leave but they never came back."
"No Ky, and I'm starting to get worried."
"You know that I would go track them down but I'm snowed in. I can't go anywhere."
"I'm just hoping they'll find their way home soon."
"Gail and Heart built the training facility for a purpose. I'm sure they will be fine."
"I guess. It is still worrying."
Marigold's P.O.V.
Gloria, Angel, Ethan, and I are combining our powers to overcome an evil force. The landscape suddenly changes to a farm area. There is a farmhouse, a well, horse stables, and other things you can see on a farm. The most important thing is that there is a two story house for us to live in. Good job Angel and Gloria. The weather conditions are much better as well. Now all we need is Core. Please little flower, just grow.
The flower has grown to a sapling overnight. Waking up and rubbing my eyes, I notice the sapling. All I have to do is call her name.
"Core? Core, are you there?" I asks trying not to wake Savvina.
A small sized Core appears.
"I know this isn't much but I thought it would help." Core explains.
"It would be nice to know what's going on."
"I have no clue myself. I just knew of the desert part but not the how. I also didn't know how to prevent this."
"We can still use your guidance."
"Okay, I'll try being as much assistance as I can possibly be."
"Any tips for now?"
"Keep track of each other for right now. You're all doing good right now."
"That training facility does work wonders." Putting my hand in my pocket I feel something and pull it out.
"Huh?"
"What is it?"
"A picture of me and my mom when we were in the Enchanted Forest. I was six in this picture. J.J. thought nature was okay but playing with the guys was better. Uncle Sean would always take him and the guys fishing anyways." I sigh. "Things were a lot simpler then."
"Yeah, things are usually simple when your young. I remember when Luna and them were so young and unknowing to the dangers of the world around them. It was difficult for me to give them up but that doesn't make me any less proud of them for who they have become."
"According to Mom, Aunt Anna was super nervous when going to her first dimensional meeting. I also heard it didn't end too well."
"They're all goofballs but that's okay."
"Gloria is nervous for her first meeting too. She's dreading it. And just like my mom was there for her sister, I will be there for mine. Well cousin, but you get the idea."
"Yeah. But it's okay everyone gets nervous for their first meeting at the counsel. Even I did."
"I wonder what that was like." Our enchanted handcuffs disappeared. "Gloria must have found a new way to keep track of everyone. My necklace is glowing."
"I hope so."
