As the car begins to move, he remembers when they first met Anna, they were thirteen years old when she and her dad joined the silver moon pack. Her father Brady Crenshaw was the new caption their Alpha chosen to lead the new soldiers who graduated from the pup’s academy. Her mother died while giving birth to her baby brother who also didn’t survive. The second night they were there, they were invited over for dinner along with his father the Beta to Ethan’s house. The whole time at the table while they were eating Kalmin noticed Anna staring at Ethan in a creepy way, which was hilarious because all Ethan did was just ignore her even while they were being introduced. After dinner, the kids went up to Ethan’s treehouse to just hangout and chat. Kalmin was excited for their first shift of the full moon in a week and Ethan agreed. They both wondered what they wolf would be like Anna stated she didn’t care just as long as she was with them, but what she really meant was with Ethan. For that whole week Anna hung out with them both, she could not get Ethan alone. When Thursday came around all three were tired, moody, their gums were sore and feverish. That was the only day Anna stayed home, both boys were grateful for the break, that night Kalmin got to sleep over at Ethan’s house. So, Luna Angela made extra for dinner. She did barbeque ribs that fell off the bone so we could eat meat with ease and cream corn. Alpha Blackwood let us stay up late watching movies in the screen room, we both perked up a bit watching major pain and ended up falling asleep on the ninja turtles. Friday morning came and there was no school since everyone in our class was about to shift. We got up at two p.m., Luna Angela had made us blueberry and banana pancakes with scrambled eggs ready for us to devour. After we ate Alpha Blackwood asked us to get our class members and meet him at the park. We gather all our classmates leaving Anna for last. We got to the park an hour after he gave us this errand. He had us line up and explain what he called us for, “You need to get your bodies ready for the shift, I don’t want any casualties tonight. Now stretch and get ready to run five miles. I don’t care how long it takes just get it done, once you’re done go wash up and get ready for the ceremony at six thirty that’s in two in half hours, if you take longer that then you’ll miss the celebration”. Everyone groans but me and Ethan.

Alpha Blackwood Shouts “Get started!” everyone stretched for twenty minutes, the girls jog lightly together while the boys raced with each other. They liked the competition. Ethan and I finished first, we ran back to his house and took showers, him in is room and me in the guests’ bathroom. Getting out the shower I wrapped a towel around my mid-section and walked across the hall to the guest bedroom. My mom brought my outfit while I was in the shower and put it on the bed for me. Putting it on, Kalmin thought he looked really good in his matching black vest and pants with a silver shirt. After brushing his hair and checking himself out in the mirror, he walked to the living room where Ethan was waiting for him in his red vest and black pants with an egg white shirt underneath and his hair in a tight and neat bun “you ready to go man it’s almost six?” Ethan asked him, Kalmin nod his head and heads for the door.
