Mouse woke up early and showered and got ready for the day. Being extra careful, she placed her small bar of soap back on the soap shelf in the shower, and she double-checked. She still had half of a bottle of shampoo and conditioner left. Enough for one more day out of each. She then made her way into the kitchen where she was going to make breakfast for herself and Darci. She had paid extra close attention to how Darci had made the scrambled eggs, and she already knew how to make toast. She started the coffee, something else that she knew how to do well, and started on breakfast. Just as she was finishing, Darci walked into the kitchen.
"I thought I smelled coffee and food. Smells good." Mouse turned around and motioned to the plates, "Thanks, I wanted to take some work off your plate
