CHAPTER4

Within two weeks, the divorce between Henry and his immoral wife, Loveth was finalized, and he married Helen, life goes on.

It was at the last minute that Emilia and Divine got to fully understand why Henry was bent on divorcing his wife and marrying Helen.

Loveth have long been cheating on Henry for close to three months with one of his good friends, a friend named Stephen. Stephen also happened to have been one of the groom’s men on their wedding day.

This adulterous act of Loveth have been well hidden and concealed until Helen found her out, on one of her visits to Paris. She went to Paris with a couple of her friends on an educative program. While they were outside one day, at a restaurant named Pick and Smile, she saw Loveth with Stephen acting all lovie dovie in the public space of the restaurant.

Helen became suspicious and decided to stalk them a little. She excused herself and followed Loveth the moment they were done with their drinks and were about stepping out of the restaurant.

She noticed they were heading towards an hotel that was very close to the restaurant. Helen stayed at a corner of the road and watched them enter the hotel. At that moment, she decided to call Henry and told him what she saw, she also asked him to call his wife and confirm from her where she was.

Henry who travelled on a business trip at the moment and wasn’t home immediately called his wife, and was surprised when she told him that she was at home running through some office work. Henry still did not believe Helen and asked her if she had any evidence to buttress her point. Being a smart girl, Helen had taken pictures and even videos of both of them at the restaurant, and when they were entering the hotel.

That was the first c***k in the wall of their marriage. Immediately Henry saw those proofs, his feelings for his wife died, though he still played ignorant to her immoral lifestyle.

By the second month after the revelation by Helen on his wife’s infidelity, he asked her to be his girlfriend. At first, she was scared and worried on how it might affect everyone, most especially her family, but she later did give in to the proposal when she noticed her feelings for Henry were genuine just as his intentions for her were true.

Back to the present, Henry divorced Loveth on the ground of infidelity, with evidences that he has gathered from diverse people he hired, including that of Helen that was taken at Paris three months ago, when he first got wind of her infidelity.

With the current turn of events, both Divine and Emilia, tendered their unreserved apologies to Henry and Helen. They got to make them understand that they never meant any evil, as it was all for the good of the family and they themselves. More importantly, if they had known about the full situation of things, they would have acted otherwise. The newly weds forgave them, including her mother who had nothing else to say against their union.

The least Mrs. Emmanuel could do was to give her newly turned adult daughter some advice on how to run a home, manage a man and be a good wife.

Mrs. Emmanuel made out time to make sure she gave her younger daughter the guidance and motherly advice she failed to give her older daughter, which she believed must have led to the failure of her marriage.

Emilia graduated from college at the age of twenty three, where she studied Estate Management, a field her father was great in before he passed away. Mr. Emmanuel was a prominent Real Estate Manager who noticed same passion in his older daughter at the tender age of twelve. He saw the need to coach her, and that he did.

This honest decision of her father to train and guide her in Estate Management was her motivating force to plunge deeper into this path after her high school education, and that was coupled with her inborn passion for property management.

Emilia who rounded up her college education at twenty three, got married a year after, and with the financial help of her husband, Divine, she started her own Estate Management firm, and thus Emilia ended up a successful business woman, but failed as a wife, her mother thought and sighed pitifully.

Therefore, Mrs. Emmanuel saw the need to walk Helen through this path, with the hope of such mistake not repeating twice in the Emmanuel's family.

With that settled and the marriage done, Helen moved in with Henry and thus started their married life as an official couple. Divine, who was once Emilia’s husband before the divorce, automatically went to being her brother-in-law after the wedding between Henry and Helen. It was a beautiful turn of event, and all they could do was wish them luck, as they went about their respective life activities.

Entering the bedroom of Divine’s home, Favour who was recently engaged to Divine, bent down to give him her good morning kiss. She happened to have a spare key to the mansion, and she decided to drop by this morning when he was still asleep. The moment Divine felt something touch his cheek, he opened his eyes and saw Favour standing above him, smiling.

He turned his face away from her, sitting up on his bed, Divine asked Favour where she had been since yesterday, when he came over to her home but she wasn’t around. He added that he called her but she never picked her call. “Where have you been? I need an answer to that” he said.

Favour who was obviously ready for this question, gave him her charming smile, before lying to him that she went to visit her parents, and must have left her phone in her mother’s room when he called, adding that she came back to pick her phone and that was when she saw his missed calls.

Divine looked at her squarely, gave his half smile and believed her, but this time not completely because with the turn of event as regards her brother, he has become quite sensitive to excuses and little shortcomings.

So, he reserved a little bit of suspicion for a later time, but at the moment, he reached towards her and kissed her in return. Favour settled into the bed space beside him, creating an intertwining s****l moments for them, one that was accompanied with deep moans, thrusts and repeated orgasms like two starved lovers on heat.

They were famished and tired by the time it was evening, but they still had to go through their wedding plans and made an amendments or two.

Whilst doing that, Divine remembered Emilia, the love of his life. He still can’t wrap his head around why he divorced her. At first, he thought she was actually cheating on him with Andrew, but now he doesn’t know for sure what is true anymore, but one thing he is certain about is that he would have accepted her if she came back to him, even if it were right now.

Looking at Favour, he knew he doesn’t fully love her as much as he does Emilia. The affection he has for Favour isn’t half compared to the true love he has for Emilia, but why she had to follow Andrew his best friend is still uncertain to him. Nodding his head and tapping his feet on the ground, he let his questions roam…with no answers in sight.
