“Don't worry, we won't be so hard on you.” one driver says, pulling the car off by the side of the road.
My heart skips as I peer around trying to find a way out, but it's no use. It's too dark outside, and I am outnumbered.
The two guys beside me snarl, the closest traces his fingers down my bare shoulder, which is probably due to how I was dragged to this place.
My pink dress is in so much pain right now, the color that was once vibrant, is now streaked with deep red and tears to last a lifetime.
“So pretty,” the one in front whispers, pushing his head into the back seat.
“Guys, please stop. I just need a ride to the city, please.” My voice is low as I shrink back, imitating the pose of a scared girl.
In truth, I am not scared. Not now, not ever.
I don't fear anything, and the worst that will become of this situation is r**e, but I will be dead before that happens.
Rough calloused hands grip my chest, pressing his palm tightly over my boobs, “Let me go.” I grit out, barely keeping my cool.
They don't intimidate me nor do they fear me. So with that, I reared my head forward, slamming it into the wheel guy head.
“AHHHH!!! YOU b***h!!!!” His screams fill the air as a heavy fist slams into mine.
My head rears backwards the same moment the door comes off its hinges, revealing a boiling kidnapper standing by the door.
“Did you think you could escape?” he taunts, body covered in black as he shifts his gaze to the guy beside me whose palms pressed over my boobs.
“HOW DARE YOU!!!” he thunders, causing the sky to cry out. Without hesitating, his gun goes off, the bullet flies straight into the guy's skull.
Thick red liquid spurts out of the guy's head, pumping with so much force it splatters all over my face.
I gasped, and gasped for air while bullets rang around me, bathing me in pure crimson liquid.
“You look much better like this,” he growls, eyeing it as red liquid topples down my forehead everywhere.
“You sick bast—” the words are barely out of my lips when I feel the butt of the gun slamming. I it the side of my face once again.
**
My eyes flutter open, the lids so heavy I dare not rush the process. Every bone in my body ached, earning a groan from my lips.
Scanning my surroundings I realize I am back in that godforsaken torture room.
It actually dawns on me that I may never see my papa again or anything else.
I may never kiss my uncle good morning or water my garden or go for my fundraising events or worse, I may never get to go to the pet store.
And that makes me see red.
“Are you up or do you need someone to wake up?” that cold voice, that is the bane of my existence growls.
“You sick bast,” the words are stuck in my throat when the whirring of a machine picks up, sending my head rearing back as I scream out in sheer agony.
It's torture.
Electricity sizzles through my being earning screams and screams as I buckle against the chair, realizing I am restrained.
“I told you not to test me. You think you have a way to escape, huh?” he growls, firing up the number with a flick of his thumb.
“STOPPP!!” I yell, tears running down my cheeks.
Even the tears burn so badly until he lets his finger off the remote.
“You can't run from me until I am done with you,” he growls, taking cautious steps forward as he wraps his fingers around my neck.
“What the hell do you want?” I barked out, too gored up not to respond or fight back.
Thick red liquid drips down my jaw as his grip tightens around my neck, eyes burning red. My bones ache from so much pain.
“I will break you. I will watch you burn under my gaze, and kill every single fire in those eyes until all that's left is ashes.” he thunders, veins popping on his forehead.
My lips curve into a crooked smile as I move my mouth, spitting a handful of blooded saliva on his face before rearing my head back, slamming it on his.
“Let me see you try.” I bark.
He can't take my fire, no one can, because I burnt to ashes to get those fires.
“We'll start from here,” he snarls, then twists the remote again, causing my body to jerk up as screams rake through my system.
After what seems like forever, the silent command wafts through my ears.
“Take her to her room, and have her locked there without care.” he growls.
My eyes flutter open just in time to see him storm out of the room. I want to keep my eyes open, I really do.
But I can't keep my eyes open, it hurts too much to even blink. So instead, I close my eyes and let the pain slip.
As my body moves through the air, I can't help but think about one thing.
I must escape even if it means my de
ath. I can't accept defeat, I am too strong for that.
Freedom is mine even if I have to die for it.
