Nicky p.o.v

We arrive to the bar and it's already in full swing. We get out and spot some people from school. "Hey guys" Deacon says. Bella looks around and spots drinks in someone's trunk and she rushes over there. "Bring me a drink." I yell out to her. She waves at me. This is nice. I'm so glad I came out. Being around others is helping me be okay and not over thinking. Now to get something to drink and just relax.

Bella p.o.v

I make my way over to the drinks and the hottest guy I have ever seen grabs me and looks into my eyes. I feel like he is looking into my soul. What the heck is wrong with him coming over here touching me, but why do I like it? My body likes it. I am reacting to him and yet we haven't said 1 word to each other.

Chase p.o.v

I had to ditch Josh and whatever the hell he has going on cause I spot the most beautiful, delicious looking she-wolf I have ever seen. I notice she is getting drinks out of someone's trunk. She isn't inside the bar, she looks like she's around my age. I walk over and grab her. I am so captivated by her and can't stop myself. Something just pulls me to her. Why am I reacting like this? I hold onto her and just stare into her eyes. I must get to know her. Not even the hooking up way. This girl seems different. She starts squirming in my hold and I snap out of whatever spell she has me under. "Hello beautiful." I tell her. I didn't want to seem like a creep just starring at her. She blushes. Goddess I think I am in love. I never believed in love at first sight, but I think things have just changed. "Hi." she whispers. "What is your name?" I ask her. I have to find out everything about her. "Isabella, but you can call me Bella if you'd like." Bella I say in my head. "Lovely name for a lovely girl." she blushes again. "Thank you. Want a drink?" she asks me, but doesn't look at me. "Sure, I will have whatever you are having." I tell her. "okay hold on though. Wait right here and do not move. Let me take this drink to my bestie. Be right back, okay." She says quickly while already rushing away. She doesn't even give me the chance to answer. I watch her make her way over to a group of people. She taps a girl on her shoulder and hands her the drink, she turns around and we lock eyes and I am done for. Man what is happening to me?

Joshua p.o.v

The smell is coming from her. It has to be her. A girl I can just see the back of her, but if the front looks as good as the back, then I am in for a treat. At that moment another girl comes up and taps her her shoulder. She turns around and my whole world shifts. MATE Storm starts chanting. MATE MATE MATE MINE MINE MINE. She looks at the other girl with the biggest smile on her face. I wish she was looking at me with that smile my wolf sighs. He f*****g sighs like a lovesick pup. My mate has the deepest dimples I have ever seen. She has beautiful blue eyes, but why hasn't she noticed me? I know I am frowning now. Can she not sense me, her mate. Maybe she is around too many people so she can't sniff me out. I need to get closer and talk to her. I need to claim her. The girl hands her a drink and then leaves. I must approach her now. Breathe, you can do this I tell myself. Hurry up i***t, go claim mate. Storm tells me. I begin walking and notice Lyell is still with me, but he looks angry. He's staring in the same direction I am. s**t, maybe his mate is here too. Oh well, I will ask him later. I am so nervous, here goes nothing. I walk up to the group. "Good evening everyone" I say. They all turn around to look at me. Her eyes on me. It's doing things to me. She's so much more beautiful this close. "Good evening" most of them reply. "Hello" I hear her say softly and smiles at me. MATE MATE MATE Stom keeps chanting and starts rolling around and howling in my mind. ugh this mutt doesn't let me concentrate. Why isn't she claiming me as hers though? Something is wrong. I must find out, but I don't know how. Do I just ask her? Maybe not in front of these people. Just as I am about to speak Chase and that girl from earlier walk up and she starts introducing them as her friends from school. Is my mate not 18 yet? Her friend introduces my mate to Chase as Nicole. Apparently they are best friends. "How old are you Nicole?" I blurt out. Everyone stares at me. "17" She says." My mate looks at me, then looks down, then away. "I'm Joshua by the way." I hurry and tell her, trying to keep talking to her. I extend my hand for her to shake. "Hi Joshua, nice to meet you." she says in the softest voice. She blushes. Maybe she can feel the bond. Either that or she is really shy, I think to myself. She takes my hand and the sparks shoot up and all over my body. Feels freaking amazing. She gasps and looks up at me shocked. I just smile at her. She quickly pulls her hand back and stares at it. Storm whines, wanting to just grab her and never let go. Me too bud me too. "So what are you all doing?" Chase asks. My mate's face falls. She looks sad all of a sudden. "Excuse me, I will be right back" she says. She walks away. Her friends who I now know as Deacon and Bella look at each other and nod their heads, telling each other No. Maybe not tell us what's wrong? Or not to go after her? Well, I am going to do exactly that. I go after her and find her sitting on a big ass rock by a bunch of trees and some flowers. I pick one and give it to her. "Hi." I say. She looks up and looks like she is crying. Who hurt mate Storm yells "Hi Joshua." she says and wipes her face. "Thank you, it's so pretty." she smiles at me. "What's wrong?" I ask her hoping I can make it better. "Today has just been the worst day of my life and I am trying to be happy and let me friends cheer me up, but it isn't working." She says sadly. I must find out what is wrong and fix it for my girl. Mine, I love how that sounds. She then goes on and tells me that today her grandmother who raised her passed away. f**k I can't fix that. "I'm so sorry for your loss, but I am sure your grandmother wouldn't want to see you sad and crying." I tell her. She looks into my eyes like if she is searching for something. She smiles and replies "you're right". "Hey um I have a special place that no-one knows about. Can I take you? I am sure it will cheer you up." I tell her. " Sure, let me just go say bye to my friends and grab my bag." She says. Yes, I am going to have her all alone. I am so f*****g happy. I'm sure I'm smiling like a f*****g sap, but I don't care. I mindlink Lyell to find his own way home and to take Chase with him, then I block him. I am sure he will talk s**t and I am in a very good mood, don't need him spoiling it. I follow her to her friends and I notice that her and that Deacon guy are kind of arguing. He looks at me, looks back at her. He sighs, gives her a hug and a kiss on her head then smiles at her. Who is this guy touching what is mine? Are they a thing? I notice Lyell walking our way looking at them as well and he looks furious. He looks at me with a raised eyebrow and I shake my head at him, telling him no. Hoping he gets it and doesn't come over here talking s**t for ditching them. My mate runs up to me "Ready, lets go" she says. Lyell's eyes go wide. He knows I don't just pick up girls. I'm sure he will have questions or he will figure it out. He's pretty slow Storm laughs. I'll tell him and Chase tomorrow. Hope they are fine without me. Now time to enjoy my beautiful mate.
